It's one of the best smartphones on the market today. The first two I had had big connectivity issues. The third replacement was the charm. It works well and fast. Screen is incredibly bright and vivid. Love Android 4.0. I'll keep this one for a long while. Thanks Samsung!
So far I'm still liking my Galaxy Nexus. Like most other phones battery life is an issue. But Android 4.0 makes up for it. The interface is generally clean and simple (well at least for me). i only have one persistent problem that I need to research and that is the camera crashing. I'm not sure if it's a hardware or software issue. It doesn't happen that often, so I'm still happy.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: camera crashes, battery life, speaker volume low
I would recommend this to a friend!

Downgrading the camera?

Sweet phone, but why on earth did they downgrade the camera to a 5.0 MP, when the standard these days is, 8? Who knows. Also, the stock battery doesn't last very long, they should have included a bigger battery for such a nice and powerful phone.
Overall I'm happy that I purchased my, Samsung Galaxy Nexus.
i bought this phone two months ago ! it was my frist Android experience after wasting my time with iphone and blackberry ! the phone is simply amazing! the screen is wonderful, the 4G speed on Verizon is breathtaking ! i can't recommend this phone enough !
From the Super AMOLED screen to the excellent battery management, to beautiful HD 720p video recording this phone has it all. Front facing camera for Skype calls, the speed of 4G, the speed of the actual hardware, it all adds up to the best device I've owned. I'm not easily impressed but I have become infatuated with this phone.
Just watch an HD movie streaming over wifi or 4G, and with the large beautiful LED screen, it will be the best multimedia experience you've ever had.
I was a little bit uncomfortable at first with the Google integration, but only after Google recently changed its privacy policies. After reading them, it is really no different than any other service on the net. True anonymity was over years ago but they do their best (to a certain degree) to keep it as anonymous as possible but still providing an enhanced experience. Truly, this move was more based on Google's income through their Ad systems and income to shareholders. The side benefit was a more comprehensive service to us end users.
Unfortunately, the days of true anonymity are gone and have been for years now.
I would recommend this phone to anyone and with high regard. It's fast, great design, light even with extended battery, beautiful AMOLED Super screen and large!, and customizable beyond belief and let's not forget that it comes with Android 4.0.x
I rate this as a "Buy" for the time being until the next great thing comes out. Among its current competitors, I would select this phone if I had it to do all over again!
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, super amoled large screen, android 4.0.x ice cream sandwhich
I would recommend this to a friend!

The power of this phone is in the stock Android OS. Unlike other phones that seem to be abandoned the day they hit the shelves, this should hopefully never be orphaned by the manufacturer or carrier, because it should receive Android updates straight from the source, and is also unencumbered by applications that are previously-installed and non-removable by the user.
