Best Phone Yet

This phone sets the bar for all smartphones. This is by far the best android phone for software and hardware. People complain about the 5MP camera but for the average joe, it works just fine and pictures are pretty good when compared to other phones even with there 8MP camera. I think Iphones camera may be a little better. Obviously, the biggest enemy this phone has is indeed the Iphone but please let me assure you, this phone compared to the Iphone is like holding a key to a BMW compared to holding a key to a Toyota. The phone does more and is supporting a 4.65 inch screen that surprisingly isn't too big. For everyone that will use this phone and look at an Iphone later will realize how small that 3.5 inch screen looks on the Iphone. But enough about that. People also complain about battery life. I live in an area without 4g(but even if you did and want to conserve battery life) so I switch the phone to CDMA only on the verizon network. My battery lasted over 24 hours with moderate use. Obviously if you use the phone a lot, the battery life is going to diminish. No different from any other phone. The only complaint I do have about this phone is the plastic back. Very flimsy and slick to the touch. I put a skinomi skin protector on the front and would recommend buying the one for the back as well but the one on the front made it easier to hold on to.

I read many reviews and comments on this phone, and I can honestly say this phone rocks !!! Glad I did not buy the iphone 4s...

The Best of the Best!

Switched to the Android Platform 18 months ago (from BlackBerry) to the Droid-X. Loved that phone! Until I found the Galaxy Nexus!! It is truly the Best of the Best! Great design and performance...blazing speeds - even on 3G! Add Verizon's 4G-LTE and this phone smokes!!! Really, the best phone I've ever owned...period!

I have owned other Android phones and the iPhone 4, and I have to say that the Nexus puts them all to shame. It is the quickest, easiest to use, colorful and amazing smartphone that I have ever owned. I was worried about the battery life as anyone who has owned an Android phone knows. But the Nexus has great battery life compared to others I have owned. Great apps included. With Verizon's 4G LTE, surfing the internet is a breeze. And anything that is not on the phone that I needed is easily found in the market. Great phone, great performance at a great price. What more could you want from a smartphone.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, quick loading apps, very fast internet

Great Product

This is a well put together phone and I do not see needing an upgrade anytime soon. Most times after you get a new phone, when the next new thing comes out I get an itch to get it. Not with this phone. It has a beautiful display and is really fast due to the optimizations of Android 4.0. There are still some minor issues that need to be worked out, but this is by far the best phone in the wireless market today wit great size to compliment its feature set.

I have owned multiple cell phones for many years....just like everyone else. The only thing that disappoints on this one is the battery life. Wish this had been tested and corrected before release. Thanks for the wonderful product. keep up the good work.

This is an absolutely amazing phone... Samsung build quality, ICS goodness and pure Google experience... But you don't need my advice... If your reading this you already know what a nexus device can do... Go buy one already!!!
