The Galaxy Nexus is my first Samsung phone, but I definitely do not see it being my last. Very fast performance, great features, and a good design. I like the feel of the back of the phone, but I wish the sides were not so smooth since it does not always give me a good grasp when I go to pick it up. I'll have it start to slide out of my hand every so often, but I can catch it easily. Still, aside from that, I am very happy and glad I bought the Galaxy Nexus.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

This phone was mostly worth the wait. The screen, responsiveness, and all the other hardware is great. Battery life on 3G isn't too bad as long as I'm not using too many apps, otherwise it will drain pretty quickly.
There IS a problem with multi-touch, as has been reported. It's a software problem I think. Holding it in landscape mode(with the top of the phone in your left hand), there's a problem with the bottom-right portion of the screen if you're using multi-touch.
The camera has been pretty solid as advertised, especially in well-lit situations.
Lately I've had a problem where I can't sync music to it from my computer. I can bluetooth and download without problems, and sync to my old Android phone, but it suddenly won't work on this one...further testing needed here.
Also, it got tiny scratches on the screen while in my pocket one day. Luckily, it's barely noticeable, but the "fortified" glass really isn't as solid as I'd hoped. Had to order a case just to make sure nothing else went wrong while in pocket. Picture of the scratches are included.
Other than these things and a few software related problems, this phone will make a solid flagship device for the next few months. It's great features and handling of ICS more than makes up for the few shortcomings. I can barely put it down.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: glass screen isn't scratchproof, so-so battery life

Excellent phone, easy to use and very fast, There're so many things in this phone It will provide hours of entertainment as the battery took the test of playing Pandora all day non stop from 6:30 am to 7:15 Pm and still had 20% left, not bad at all.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: all plastic ho well

This product has a wonderful display and great color clarity. With the LTE and ICS, it is super fast.

I just received the phone a few hours ago and it is my first smartphone so I am still getting used to it and all the different functions it has to offer vs. a standard cell phone (and there are lots of differences). However as a photographer, I am disappointed with the camera. My last phone had a better camera and took wonderful photos. This one cannot compare. However downloading some of my photos from my PC (from the pro camera) to the phone, the color on the images is amazing on the display (even my husband was impressed). I also miss the ability to utilize a micro SD in the phone, granted it has plenty of memory and the ease of use with my laptop is better than my last phone (like that is the reason I got the micro SD, the other phone wouldn't work with the laptop, but I liked saving to the card rather than the RAM). The speed is amazing compared to my friends' phones and the other phones I tested in the store (I had to wait while they searched and loaded, this one is practically immediate it's so fast). It is large, but the design is nice and it isn't slippery, like it would fall out of your hand. It doesn't have Gorilla glass like the other new product on the market, however you can purchase screen protectors for it. The sound clarity is wonderful compared to my last one (folks always complained they couldn't hear me). It is a nice phone all in all and truthfully nothing is ever perfect, you have to mold it to your needs and I am sure there is an app or two for that! :)
Pros: Bright display, fast, extended battery fits in same battery slot, typical samsung quality
Cons: camera, no micro sd slot

It just keeps getting better

I upgraded from a Fascinate, which I had considered a great phone in its own right. The Galaxy Nexus is better still. Fascinate screen was top notch, Nexus screen is better. Features of ICS are great. I discover more great features every week.
Performance is noticably better than the Fascinate. I keep the phone in 3G unless I really need 4G, and then it seems to be close to my desktop in download speed.
GPS aquisition is the fastest I have encountered.
Battery life is probably not as good as the Fascinate. I have yet to go dead, but I also charge at work or in the car when I can, so probably not an issue. I have gone full days without boost charges. Still battery left at the end, but less capacity indicated than I am used to seeing from past phones (I have noticed that indicators are getting better at showing "real" capacity).
I am usually wary about being an "early adopter", but I am glad I got this phone the first day it was available.

This is on the Verizon Network so dealing with some intermittent 4G outages but only one since I purchased this about a week ago. The phone itself is beautiful, light, and performs like a champ. With that said I wish it had a 8+ MP rear facing camera, a 1.5GHZ processor, and better internal speakers, though that's just nitpicking. I don't take many pictures so not too bad for my preferences, however the speakers were disappointing. Great Samsung patented screen and overall fantastic phone.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, ice cream sandwich, hd video, size
Cons: speakers, rear facing camera, battery/back cover (especially w/extended battery)
