This product has a cheap feel due to it's plastic. The peel off plastic battery cover pops off often. The screen might be nice, but it uses up the battery! Very short life. The volume is terrible and can't hear the phone ring in your pocket. Needs to add a paid app to boost the volume. The standard email is terrible and very old type that I thought was gone from my Droid OG. The Droid Bionic has great email. I had to buy an app K-9 to get decent email. No side facing dock, cheap car dock. Sorry Samsung/Google/Verizon you blew this one. I was so hoping.......

Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, battery, email, volume, no accessories

Growing on me

I am switching from the fascinate. This google phone is pretty cool. The only thing that really bothers me is the camera. I do not like how you cannot change the filters on the photos like you could with the fascinate. Also you cannot do speed dial which is another thing that should be added to the next update. Facebook contacts cannot be linked with phone contacts. I wish I could change the number of screens too. Also when typing a new message I used to be able to select from "recent" or "contacts" and I can no longer do that. If the camera were exactly like the fascinate, I could speed dial, link contacts with FB and edit the number of home screens I would be so happy with this phone. I hope in the next updates these things will be fixed.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, fast processor

Great Phone, Terrible Accessories

Samsung makes great phones, Google makes average software and on it's own this is a great device. As usual they completely dropped the ball on accessories. In fact, I don't even think they had the ball in the first place. The only available holsters require a case, which might be acceptable if the vehicle cradle could be used with a case. The vehicle cradle is so poorly designed it's embarrassing. It should not take 4-5 seconds to pry the device out, what's wrong with using the same design as the bionic's, or the X's, or ANY of the previous designs. Nice try Samsung, better luck next time.

Cons: Too big, lack of accessories

Very dissappointed in the Galaxy Nexus. Does not perform well at all. Batter life is horrible. I get three hours and that's not even using 4G or GPS at all. Can't connect to my computer because the driver is not available. One of the worst aspects is the volume the device puts out on calls, ringtone and video. It is so low sometimes you can't even hear it. I think letting it leave the factory like that was absolutely ridiculous. Samsung I have given you a second chance after my Droid Charge turned into a piece of junk. I will be trading this phone in for something else.

HIGHLY UPSET WITH THE NEXUS

FOR STARTERS, I'VE BEEN A IPHONE USER FOR SEVERAL YEARS B4 THE NEXUS AND HAVE NEVER HAD THIS MANT ISSUES WITH A PHONE. THE REASON FOR THE MOVE WAS THE FACT THAT I CHANGED CARRIERS AND WHEN I WENT IN THE SALESMAN WAS RAVING OF HOW THIS PHONE WILL BE BETTER THAN THE IPHONE. (HE GAVE OUT ALL THESE QUALITIES AND THE ONLY THING THAT WORK WAS THE FACE LOCK. LATER I FOUND OUT THAT WASN'T MUCH SECURITY WHEN MY NEPHEW UNLOCKED MY PHONE WITH A PICTURE FROM HIS PHONE). THIS PHONE HAS BURNT OUT 4 CHARGERS, IT FREEZES LIKE CRAZY, THE APPS ARE HORRIBLE. ONE SALESMAN TOLD ME THAT U COULD DROP THIS PHONE IN THE WATER AND IT WOULD STILL WORK ONCE YOU PULLED IT OUT. I DARE TO TEST THAT OUT WHEN THIS PHONE CANT EVEN DO THE SIMPLEST TASK LIKE, STOP POWERING OFF ON YOUR OWN, STOP FREEZING IN THE MIDDLE OF CALLS. SURE ENOUGH THE IPHONE HAD ISSUES, BUT ALL IT TOOK WAS TO POWER IT OFF COMPLETELY AND TURN IT BACK ON. (PROBLEM FIXED EVERYTIME) TRYING THIS PHONE HAS TO BE THE WORST THING THAT I'VE EVER DONE WHEN IT COMES TO ELECTROCICS.

No hdmi output. I can record a hi definition video but cant share it on a tv via a hdmi output. Also, a 5MP camera?!, Really, you cant do better, at least a 8mp would have been nice.....The back feels like cheap plastic. If your going to build a super muscle car a least make it look nice give it a safe and secure feel and give it some common accessories. ( ie 8 mp camera and hdmi out). You built a great engine, now build it with some functionality.

Battery woes

The battery won't last a day with moderate use. The extended battery is very minimally more powerful. Most would clearly prefer a thicker heavier phone if the battery lasts. A big, light, thin great featured phone is great if you only use it for half the day. Who wants to shut off all features and apps to preserve power on a daily basis. MAKE A BIG BATTERY PLEASE!!!!
