This is my first droid and I will never ever go back to Apple. I love this phone. I knocked it down in performance because the battery is horrible. I upgraded mine to the longer lasting battery and I can't say enough good things about this phone. It is fast, JB runs so smoothly on it. It is very easy to learn and very user friendly to both the non droiders and the hard core droid people.
Because of this phone being a Nexus it can easily be rooted and customized they way you want it to be. Where other phones take months to update, this you can do it yourself if you want and have the latest and greatest OS.
I have always loved Samsung products!!!! This phone is the best phone I have experienced in a very long long time Samsung is doing awsome everything about this phone is awsome I cant live with out Samsung products ever again.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

I liked everything about the phone except one thing. It had signal/antenna issues and thats a big deal 4 me. Its not a phone if it doesnt get reception
I bought a new Nexus outright from a dealer since I wasn't able to get a new phone from verizon. I connected it to my account and the internet is so slow it barely functions. I cannot access the play store at all. The connection always times out. I am unable to download anything at all. I called verizon and went over all the troubleshooting steps without success. They told me that its the phone itself and not the service. I do believe that to be true since I have 2 Samsung fascinates and a Note 2 without any issues at all. I am a sumsung fan and I am really upset that I invested in a phone that will not work. I'm extermely disappointed. Verizon was able to confirm for me that the phone was brand new and never activated until yesterday. Since I bought the phone from a store and not a Verizon store there is nothing I can do but keep a smart phone with no internet access.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: no internet connection for play store, extemely slow browser if it works at all
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice size big screen removable battery easy to,grip NFC HD screen Thin feels great in the hand Stock jelly bean easy to root
This device was amazing, except that it was a terrible phone. I bought the phone as soon as it came out. At between 3 minutes and 35 minutes, it would stop sending my voice through to the person on the other end of the line, leaving them thinking that I had hung up, and me listening, frustrated to someone saying, "hello, hello, hello." It took me several months and two different galaxy nexus phones to get the issue resolved. It was resolved by me getting a different brand phone. Too bad indeed. I liked everything except that the phone dropped 85% of my calls. The pure google android was wonderful otherwise. I live in a major metro area, so this was pretty disappointing.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, terrible phone
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

...No complaints except for how the carrier (VZN) has failed to push out the expected Nexus updates.
