The phone is very fast and thin. The glass seems to be very scratch resistent. There is very little documentation provided with the phone and the user doesn't appear to be able to customize many of the phone's features without downloading apps.
Pros: The phone is very fast with a great screen.
Cons: The feel of the phone is cheap and the external speaker has a very low maximum volume. It is so low that I was missing calls often. I paid for the Volume+ app that helps.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, fast
Cons: low external speaker volume, cheap feel for an expensive phone, short battery life, desk docks not available

So close to great - fix the volume

Had the phone 10 days now. So much eye candy, speed, and of course we love the ICS. Too bad SAMSUNG didn't spend a little more time on the speaker volume. Hearing your phone ring and music play is SOOOO basic to good phone operation! You even bill the SN as an "entertainment" phone and you can't hear it!! Guys - yYou gotta fix this FAST or risk a tarnished image and plenty of returns. At least be decent enough to properly address the shortfall in the media or we are returning all 4 of them we got for Christmas.

This is a great phone. I have moved from a BlackBerry over to Android 4.0 and could not be happier. The screen is beautiful, and the device runs very smoothly, and the customization options make the experience all that much better. Integration of the Google products on the phone is fantastic, including using Google Voice for email.
On the downside, the speaker seems a little weak when the phone rings, and Android still does not switch from landscape to portrait and back as quickly as it should.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight

Brilliant, featured, love it

This was a big step for me. I mean, this phone is HUGE. But I took the leap and love it. The screen is amazing. Even the Samsung loading logo when you restart looks brilliant. The phone is fast, slick and flexible. Camera is RIDICULOUSLY fast; I click it multiple times to practically guarantee I get a good shot of my son. Speakerphone is great. Very thin.
A few minor cons: the volume control button is directly on the other side from the lock/unlock key and I find myself pushing both at the same time often. The phone volume is either too loud (at loudest) or too soft (at second loudest).
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight

This is an amazing phone! The large bright screen is by far my favorite feature, I love watching movies and TV shows from the Android Market, YouTube and Netflex. With no hardware buttons the image takes up the full screen and really pops.
Performance is great, very fast, and runs several apps at once with out slowing down at all. Ice Cream Sandwich Android OS is by the far the best, intuitive and well connected to your favorite services like Google+ Twitter, etc.
The camera does a nice job in well lit environments, and the zero shutter lag allows for very fast sequential pictures. The photo quality is average in low light, and while its still pretty good, this would be the weakest feature in my opinion.
You can get rid of your flip video camera however, the ability to take 1080p video is fantastic.
A couple of small things, the Volume rocker is a little low on the side for me, (could just be me) and the external speaker could be louder. Also I prefer the headphone jack on top rather then the bottom, but that is personal preference.
Battery life is very good, the default battery lasting the entire day with moderate use. I purchased the extended battery which did not add any real size to the phone and carries me through the day.
This is the best android phone on the market. Believe the Hype - get it, you won't be sorry.

This is an amazing device. I use RPD into my desktop and it is actually usable with the 720p display. The only knock I have is the battery life is low; I just plug it in when I am at my desk and problem solved.
I had a Blackberry Bold and this is light-years ahead of anything Blackberry has to offer.
Put it in a case asap, cause it is slick to hold.
