Hard to match picture at any price

This TV looks fantastic. It only took 10 minutes, maybe, between me opening the box and me watching TV. This picture is great. If you don't like it, there are sophisticated picture controls. You can calibrate the image until it's precisely to your liking (but you'll be happy even if you don't adjust it). As a photographer, screen calibration is crucial. There are also settings for sound, but beyond my understanding.
There's one major flaw, auto contrast. It can be turned off, but it becomes clear fast that the best picture can't be achieved unless it's on. The issue with it is that it can make it seem like the brightness is warming up. When a scene or show fades to black, the auto contrast makes things darker. When your show comes back, unless it's a dark scene (which most TV shows aren't) it seems like the pictures dark for a second for it to get to normal brightness. Granted it's only a second, but it's so hard to not notice, even on the lowest auto contrast.

Love the picture

We absolutely love this TV. The picture is awesome and the features it has are so east to use and very helpful in getting the most out of your TV. If I had to pick one bad thing about the TV, I would just say that the overall sound could be a little better. Sometimes we have to turn it up very loud in order to hear it, but it is also in a open space in our house

Great TV

TV setup was less than 10 minutes from box to cabinet. Plenty of nice features but not so complicated that you need an engineering degree to operate. Beautiful picture and much better sound than our old TV.

I love this TV! The picture is superb and the features are a real convient and easy way to watch basically anything you want. You can even mirror your phone to the TV which basically means Bluray's are about to be obsolete. The TV is super light weight and easily hung on a wall.

Seem to have difficulty with the remote set-up, but that is minor. Still want to buy an external sound system. This is my first LG product and I love it.

Good size and easy to use

This was a good product for a loft I live in, great size and it was very easy to hook up to all my other gadgets. I used an Apple TV and don't pay for cable so it is nice to watch movies on. Good clear picture on all my devices. Not much more to say about TV's because it all depends on how long they last so mine is only a year old and still doing great, beyond that I have no idea yet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought this TV because of its physical dimensions - it needed to be fit into our much-loved entertainment unit. After a few hours of making the necessary adjustments of mounting, it really looked like it was meant to be there! But when we turned it on, WOW! Certainly was surprised by the clarity and sharpness, the brightness and the overall picture! Love this TV!

This is an excellent TV. It has great picture and the size iserfect. Although the sound could be a little better it still does the job. It is very basic and easy to use definitely for everybody. Love the sleek/slim silver design.
