One of the best of three LG TVs I have purchased

The LG #: 47LB5900 was one of the easiest setups and installs I have experienced.
The directions are clearly written and the results, if you follow each step in the order as written, are great. The total setup up time including taking it out of the box and locating the various screws and mounting legs took less than an hour. My set is with DIRECTV.

The picture came up in beautiful sharp, true to life colors.
The customization instructions are easily followed and mostly concern turning on "Dolby" sound and making minor adjustments in the contrast.
Viewing from any angle up to 10 degrees or less is perfect. And it stays that way in any light situation! The set can be watched in a well lighted room if others are trying to read or do homework.
If you want a TV with all the menu adjustments you can ever need, at a GREAT price; you CANNOT go wrong with the LG#: 47LB5900!

we have had this tv for a month now and i still cant get over the quality of the picture and sound. i have seen a lot of tv's but this is this best by far

I have had now for Little over a month and I love it! As any new flat screen you have to buy some sort of additional audio system because there is no sound hardly. I wish the TV had more Hdmi ports and maybe some more AV ports I have a lot of additional equipment I keep hooked up to my tv and there is not enough ports. Picture great, quality is great.

I love my LG TV

I replaced my 7 year old 42 inch plasma with a 40 inch smart LED HDTV (Not LG) and the picture froze twice in a month. I returned it and paid a bit more for my 47 inch LG and it is beautiful. So far it has been perfect, which is not surprising; I've always had great success with LG.

I'VE OWNED OVER 20 LG TV'S AND DVD PLAYERS BECAUSE THEY CONTINUE TO GET BETTER NOT BECAUSE THEY BREAK NEVER EVER HAD ANY ISSUES WITH THER PRODUCTS AND THIS TV HAS GREAT PICTURE QUAILTY AND GREAT WORKMAN SHIP VERY EASY TO SETUP.I WOUID RECOMMEND THIS TV FOR ANYONE THATS DEMANDS QUAILTY!

A pleasure to watch. Easy on the eyes and good color.
I would not recommend this set for very small rooms as the picture gets "fuzzy" if you get too close.
