Lewis Family Loves Air Hogs FPV Car

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and 11 year old son were thrilled to be getting the Air Hogs FPV Car. They’ve had other Air Hogs products and were really looking forward to a car with First Person Viewing.
When the car arrived, I was surprised at how big it was. I expected something much smaller. My guys immediately plugged it in to charge it up. According to my husband, it only took about an hour to fully charge.
My husband loaded the app on his phone (an iPhone6) and we took everything outside to check it out. The instructions were very detailed and simple to understand. My husband’s phone fit in the goggles without a problem.
Once they were familiar with the controls, my husband and son each took turns with the car. They seemed thrilled to be seeing things from the ‘cockpit’ point of view.
Soon, my 13 year old daughter joined in the fun. She and my son had a lot of fun chasing each other while driving the car.
While my kids were playing with the car, our neighbor came over asking about it. I can see the Air Hogs FPV Car being very popular this coming Christmas.
I asked my husband if there were any issues with the car. He said the picture would pixelate when the car hit a bump, but that it was minimal and would correct in a second or so.
The Lewis Family definitely loves the Air Hogs FPV Car!

Air Hogs FPV Car for the Win!

Mom likes that said boys can play together cooperatively or alone. Dad likes the tech-y spin to RC cars (which he's loved since his own childhood). The boys (9 and 11) like playing with a toy that does what it's supposed to. It's fun and different than whats in their toy boxes.
The instructions and set up are easy. The app was easy to download and install. The car holds its charge. The graphics are good. The car is durable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I told my so to open the box and it was like Christmas! He is pretty savvy so he was able to set it up on his own which required an app on his iPhone to use in the headset as a virtual reality thingy. It apparently uses blue tooth technology to transport you into the car. So basically you are driving on ground level and have the remote in your hands.
This was played with for over 30 minutes where then it needed a recharge.
The recommended age is 8, and I think that's a pretty good age to start off with as long as they have a good grasp of downloading apps and careful with the toys. Definitely a huge hit here and feel air hogs has come a long way i terms of remote control items.

Air Hogs FPV family fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My whole family loved playing with the Air Hog FPV car. We have had several family fun days playing with this super fast, fun car. The instructions were easy to read making installation of the app so easy to use and set up. The car battery last a good time if fully charged which gave us hours of family fun. The VR goggles made for a real life experience making the car much more enjoyable to drive. My husband and I had just as much fun as our children ages 3 to 15. We are thinking about purchasing more Air Hog products for Christmas because this car was definitely enjoyable for our whole family!

Cool Car Indeed!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this bad boy in the mail and I though...ok,looks cool but let’s see what it can do. I was super impressed to say the least!! I and my husband put it to the test as soon as it was charged. It came with a headset that you can put your phone in...Android or iPhone. You download an app and you can see the road from your view AND the car AND IT CAN RECORD YOUR DRIVE!!!! The control was very easy to use. We tested it outside and it’s very durable. Ran over rocks and branches with ease and style and my gosh was this thing FAST!! After the adults played the teens, preteens and toddlers all go to play with it and loved it! I suggest it for guys and gals, young and old! It has lights too!! I could not upload my video but I suggest try this. Only drawback is that the further the car gets from the remote/headgear the video become grainy. We are the cool house on the block right now. Everybody that drove by was like look at that thing go!!
