worst purchase ever

After a couple of months of ownership, called in for service for constant sparking. After multiple appts and multiple parts changed, GE ended up replacing the range. Guess what?! The new range still has the same problem. Decided to wait to report problem, but kept putting it off until it was too late. Warranty had lapsed. So we're stuck with this issue. Also, have issues with sound being intermittent. Sometimes there will be no sound when pressing buttons, so I won't hear when the oven is preheated, or when I set the timer, I won't hear the beeping sound when timer is up leading to overcooked food. This range is also easily stained. If you're not in the habit of cleaning after every use, be prepared to have hard to remove/permanent stains.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We love those stove

This is the best stove we have ever had. The controls are great. It cooks perfectly.
Looks amazing. A magnetized socket is definitely helpful if you are converting to propane.

Great range!

The dual fuel is awesome. The convection baking is amazing. Having 6 burners that can actually have a full size pot sitting over the great is fantastic! Flame control is very precises and works well. We enjoy the convection roast with the meat probe.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Appearance is very upscale. It is the best of both worlds to have electric oven for more even baking and gas range. Burners are easily adjustable for exact temperature control. Love having 6 burners!

We bought this to replace one of those "off market" brands of industrial looking ranges. So glad we did. This CAFE product bakes 150% (dare I say 200%?) better than the other. Nice and evenly baked cookies....consistent temp (+/- 5 or so degrees from setting) at all times on all levels of the stove (we move an accurate thermometer around the stove to check).
My only "wish" though was that it was a 4-burner and not 6-burner stove top. We don't need, nor will use, the griddle, and we find that the burners are somewhat crammed into the same space as a traditional 4-burner. Technically, it's not a problem, but just our preference would have been a slightly different design.
