cannot customize spelling

I have the cartridge and cannot customize spelling have tried everything. Anybody else have this problem!!!

This is my kids' favorite game on their leappad. Katie loves braiding Rapunzel's hair and they get so excited about unlocking a new item. Kaydence has really improved in school and sounding out words since playing this game and using her leappad.
Pros: Educational, Fun for kids, Good for on-the-go play, Grows with child
