Not our best purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought our refrigerator in November of 2018 in April 2019, a mere six months after purchase, it broke down. We were without a refrigerator for 2 weeks, waiting for a technician to contact us, ordering the part and installed. The repair was
made, needed a new motherboard. Then in May of 2019 the refrigerator broke down a second time, this time we went without a refrigerator for approximately 3 weeks. Talk about dissatisfied with your purchase, that is an understatement. Repairs were all done free of charge because we bought a warranty from the place of purchase, thank God we did. We have not had any other issues thus far.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good size and features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator is the perfect size for my family. All items are kept at the proper temperature and the door in door is very convenient. My only negatives are that the water that is dispensed is not very cold, just slightly above room temperature. And I would have preferred larger ice cubes.

Great look & price, great features--except for one

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The freezer on my side by side stopped working so a new frig was a have to. I love the look of the black stainless! I really like the door in the door and the freezer drawer features. I was told it had a small ice maker but that is an understatement. The water dispenser doesn't really chill and occasionally leaks but is super fast fill. The ice/water dispenser is the only think I don't like about the unit.

Compressor failure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had for 2 years and the compressor quit. It took over a week to get it repaired but LG did cover the repair. Ice machine doesn’t make a lot of ice, it is more of a novelty than an ice machine.
