I love this grill!

This is a great grill. It's held up very well to the weather when I've forgotten to cover it. It has great heat control on both the gas and charcoal sides. The grill surface is of good quality. Honestly, I don't have a single complaint about this grill and I'm very particular about my grills. The only thing that could stand improvement is the charcoal tray raising mechanism, but it does well enough that the pros far outweigh the cons.
I am thrilled by the after-sales service support, namely the parts. I buy my stuff to take care of and keep. When a supplier gives me access to parts, I know they intend for their stuff to be used and taken care of. I think Char-Broil is a good brand when there are many out there just trying to make a buck. I will most certainly buy Char-Broil products when they are available.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Right size for a small family.

Gas great for a fast cook after work. Charcoal for a weekend BBQ. Both at same time for slow and fast cooking. Air control for Char side would be better not vented out back. Best left open all the way unless low temp smoking. Control heat with intake vent. So far so good Like having both on same cart. Wife wish's it had bottom closed in with doors.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have had this grill for about a month, now, and I LOVE IT!! I read all the reviews on hybrid grills before finally deciding on this one. I almost purchased another one at a warehouse store, but I am sure glad I did my homework!!

Perfect compromise

My wife wanted a charcoal grill; I wanted propane. This grill is the perfect compromise! This is actually our SECOND purchase of this model (or similar); The first was 15+years ago, but age and the elements have caught up with it, so rather than try to replace parts on the old one, we opted to go for new, and are looking forward to another 15+ years!

Good value and good idea

I love the fact that it's a combo grill, however the metal is chinsy and doesn't seem built to last. I don't like the rear vent on the charcoal side and the gas side it not that powerful. My wife is upset that there aren't any storage doors on such a big grill.

Good Grill

Had it three years use 4-5 times a month in the summer. From October thru march abut 3 time. charcoal side is good shape grates are bad on both sides gas side heat tents rusted out and bottom pan completly fell apart
