Awesome Smoker

I have owned my Longhorn for a while now and I love it. My smoker to me can't be beat. I've cooked ribs, butts, pork belly, chicken, brisket and even hamburger and hotdogs. I've even smoked shrimp on it and it turned out awesome. It's easy to control the heat and cooks great food every time. I plan to use it for many more years.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought this reverse flow smoker almost 3 years ago and have used it very often. The only complaint is the paint on the smoke box started coming off with the first use and we have had to repaint it several times.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My favorite cooker

I’ve had two of these and my second one is somewhere around 10 years old. I wouldn’t change a thing about it. I cook on mine weekly and it has held up. I just need to replace the grills and grates. If you like to cook and smoke, this is the pit I would recommend. Can’t say enough good things about the product. Built to last says it all.

True bargain at this price, some limitations and drawbacks as far as heat retention and air flow, but you can’t beat it for the price

Had this for three years now, I maintain it well, clean it out and allow it to dry out after hosing down every use. By becoming familiar with the 2 dampers I can easily regulate temps in the main chamber between 225 and 250 degrees. Pans with under the grid help reduce clean up and improve the results. Easy to build a good sized direct fire on the far left, leave off one cooking grate to do direct fire steaks and such. VERY versatile. Large pork shoulders and butts are great for an offset, when your'e almost done you can throw the cooking grate on in the fire box and cook a few burgers and dogs for the grankids who don't want the 7 hour pork smokes. Best outdoor cooking implement I have ever had. I had one of the little ones years ago and fell in love with the brand. Been grilling/smoking with charcoal and wood for about 45 years now. For the money, you can't beat this offset.

Got this for retirement have cooked everything on it. Love it holds temp well and smokes perfect. Just have to be patient and keep lid closed. My brother got me smoker and evry holiday we send each other pics to brag about who BBQ looks the best.

Being a novice smoker this smoker and the great resource of the website has helped me get great results right out of the box. The craftsmanship and gauge of the metal used to build this guy is telling me this will be around forever with a small amount of maintenance.
