Lets me grill anywhere!

I bought the Portable Patio Gas Grill a little over a week ago. It's easy to transport with the built-in handle. I can see myself using it everywhere I go. I've used it on two different weekends already. Because of the design it flares up very little. Temperature control is precise with the turn dial control. The lid mounted temperature gauge lets you enjoy cooking without keeping a constant eye on the food. Just check the gauge once in a while. I've never had juicier or tastier chicken that was cooked all the way through with no pink inside. It was just absolutely delicious! Clean up is super easy because the grates are porcelain coated.
I would recommend this to a friend!

incredible heat for a portable

works reliably and very hot...no flareups, just a lil smoke...i use it with sous vide machine...let sous vide bring steak to 137....takes about an hr, med rare...then grill 2-3 minutes on ea side....u cant get a steak like this in any restaurant....cooked to a dark pink, then grill marks on the infrared to make it look tasty....

Perfect size on a small porch

Have had my grill for at least 7 years, replacing parts as I need too. Easy to find and order and easy to replace. Before I had this grill, I could never get my food cooked right. Now it's easy to cook things to perfection! I never want to have to give this grill up ... thank you Char-Broil!

Great steak, great hamburgers!

I just had this thing given to me. And I was showing my buddy this page across the internet when I noticed it had terrible reviews. Yeah if you can't get it to ignite right away you have to reach in and move the electrode just a little bit to be in the gas/flame path. Essentially the gas is headed upward and the electrode is installed just below that path. So yeah I experienced that too but I didn't write the whole thing off. If the ignition system is dead you probably need a fresh battery, or plug the wires in a little more they kind of click into place. Cleaning the grill??? Well I don't really see the problem in the future, it is a bit compact but they supplied a spiky wedge scraper and that so far seems to do just fine. I think it's a great BBQ! It gets warm quick easily up to 500F on setting 3, and stays hot with little gas usage.

This grill has it all! Size, convenience and value. I'm a single woman that wanted something on the smaller size - translation = manageable. I don't need a huge family sized grill to clean or cook on. This one is perfect!

I have had this grill about 3 years use it all the time the infrared keeps it from flaming up makes fantastic steaks hamburgers and anything else you want to grill and being portable we take it to picnics tailgating boating on the river greatest small grill Ive owned yet large enough for groups cooks fast absolutely love it

Ignition system

I purchased this grill on 5/27/16. I worked fine twice then the ignition system failed. They sent new parts which I installed and it worked fine three times. Failed again.
It is either inferior quality parts or design, I just don't know.
