Not a very good shelf

I put things like bleach and laundry detergent on this. The problem is it is slick and slopes ever so slightly forward, so the jugs slowIy slide forward. It's a matter of time until one falls on my head. I would not buy again. At minimum, a lip at the front to catch sliding items would help, a flatter less slick surface would be better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sub Par Product

This is the only product of all that I have ordered that is extremely sub par. It is not very sturdy, it isn’t level and tilts forward so that things slide off. I have 3 of them and they are all the same way.

Your stuff will slide off.

I own several of these, and as others have mentioned, they slope away from the wall and are very slick, so anything you place on them will be on the razor's edge of sliding off. So plan on scabbing together some way of keeping your items on this shelf. Gladiator could easily fix this by adjusting the slope a couple degrees, but as you notice, they just give us a canned response to these critical reviews... then do nothing.

Poor Design

Similar to others, the metal is so flimsy that it can barely hold a couple canned goods and then leans away from the wall. If you bump the shelf slightly, everything on the shelf will slide right off. I have four of them and it was a waste of money because I can’t use them nor return them. It needs to have stronger metal and something on the end to stop product from falling off.

Useful addition

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shelf is a great addition to other gladiator items hanging on the wall. It adds space to our very limited garage space to store things we would not otherwise be able to. We have used it to leave baseball gloves and shoes off the ground. Its easier to grab things off of then when we hang them on a hook which as made its use easier for the kids.

Very useful shelf

The wire shelf not only allows you to store items on top, but I have also added a couple of hanging s-brackets and can now store bike helmets, gloves and other items hanging underneath.
Extremely sturdy, fits perfectly in the space that I have - well done Gladiator!
