I had purchased a package about a year ago which included the 24" Wall GearBox, additional rail with an assortment of hooks/holders and installed it one Saturday morning. I was so impressed with the ease of insulation and quality of the products that I recently purchased a second package. I enjoy leaving my garage door open for the neighbors to see just how organized my 2 car garage looks. Very pleased with my decision to purchase.

Good but bottom shelf is bad

Well made, but I really don't like that the bottom shelf is at least two inches below the door framework. It's a pain to lift things up and out. It is also a nuisance to keep that area clean. You have to vacuum it out. It would be nice if they were made like kitchen cupboards where the bottom self lines up with the top of the lower face frame.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

These worked out good for us. I bought 14 of them for our shop break room, it makes it look like a man cave rather than a kitchen. I wish they had locks, we added them so personal items would be secure. We also bought 2 of the benches and a large cabinet to finish off our man cave.

New Paint colors substituted for what I ordered

I bought four of these cabinets from one of Gladiator's dealers. Whirlpool fulfilled the order and shipped them directly to me. The cabinets are as advertised, with one caveat. Whirlpool seems to have decided to change the paint color of the silver tread surface. So, they sent me 2 "old style" and 2 "new style." The old style match my other Gladiator cabinets. The new ones don't match.
This is to me the height of arrogance. Nobody told me that they were going to do this. Nobody asked me if it would be OK if they shipped a random mix of finishes.
Whirlpool must think I'm really stupid, and they can get away with anything they want to. I'm moving soon, and I haven't got time to ask for a do-over. But there is always the future, and I 'll have plenty of time to never order from them again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
