Huge Upgrade over our Electric Cooktop

When we remodeled our home a few years ago we had a glass top electric cook top installed. Once my wife and I began to do more home cooking we wanted to install a cook top with better control. We decided on this gas cook top because it was a drop in replacement for the electrical cook top we were replacing.
What an improvement. This cook top has the power to quickly boil large pots of water, soup etc. What is even more amazing is how easy it is to adjust to a low level simmer without having to constantly adjust the level like we had to do with the electric cook top.
The only complaint we have with this cook top is our choice of the enamel black finish. The black enamel is gorgeous, but it also shows every splatter and finger print. We chose the black enamel to match our other appliances, but in retrospect the finger print resistant stainless finish would have been a better choice.
Overall we are very pleased with this cooktop.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The stove is too hard to clean. It will need to be taken apart and cleaned and polished after every use. No stove should need more then a wiping while doing dishes and a full cleaning weekly/ monthly. The stove should have a cleaner make specifically for this stove.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall Pleased but Some Issues

Overall, we're very pleased with the cooktop. Great variation on the size of burners and five burners makes cooking easy! There is an issue with some of the paint chipping away near two of the burners and there are scratches present. This issue is NOT user-related, it appears to be a defect in the paint finish. I am not pleased with the finish and will most likely submit a claim under the warranty.

The knobs on this product are cheap and are not true stainless steel. The coating peels off.

Love the Five Different Sized Burners!

While we love the appliance and all of its features, we are sad that the silver knobs scratch very easily. The paint does not adhere to the knob at all. It is the ONLY part of the cooktop that we would rate as VERY POOR.

Great Cooktop

I love my cooktop! The burners never fail and I like that the knobs light up when you turn the stove on. If it doesn't lite ... you are aware that the gas is running; which adds a safety feature when you have kids and/or aging parents in the house. It cooks evenly and is very easy to clean if a cooking experience turns messy. I purchased the griddle separately and I love it! It's added a nice feature to my stove. The cons; I don't use scrubbers or harsh chemicals to clean my stove; but the finish has started to rub off on the knobs. So, I'm going to purchase a few extra's to keep on hand. Overall, it's a nice appliance -- we have received compliments on it and I am very pleased.
