Wow! Incredible sound.

I've only had these speakers a week and they are blowing me away. So far, I haven't been able to stump the 590s. They enhance music from any genre.
I suspect the reason for JBLs recent deep price discount is due to the size and weight of the speakers. It can be a struggle to unbox and set them up without assistance. But the amazing sound is worth the trouble.
The mids and highs are extremely detailed and life-like. And JBL's signature bass response is as rock-solid as ever.
I am satisfied with my purchase and look forward to enjoying these loudspeakers for decades to come.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased these to replace my vintage L100T’s lost in a flood. Still shaping/configuring the 7.1 system. When playing my vinyls with the A2A amp in 2Ch mode, Joe Sample and the Crusaders sound perfect!
By the way, the 590’s look great in “my happy place” a/k/a music/video room.

Shipping took a while (although JBL was great in expediting as necessary), but was very happy with the condition of the packaging/speakers -- no issues whatsoever. They look great and sound better -- much appreciated.

Amazing sound quality

Soft crisp highs, detailed mid-range, and tight thumping bass. The soundstage is perfect, and the clarity unrivaled. They handle high power high current inputs with ease. JBL and Harman just make high quality products that reproduce music how you want to hear it.

Great sounding speakers!

I have loved JBL speakers for quite some time, having had a JBL PA and monitors with several bands over the years. I also have JBL ceiling speakers in my home. So, after listening to a friend's Studio 590 pair, I knew I had to have them. Nice punchy but smoothe bass and nice clean highs. You can't beat a compression driver horn. I also like how my speakers were wrapped and shipped on a pallet and arrived in great shape.
