Arrived damaged

Unboxed it. Plugged it in and it sounded great. After a hour I decided to remove the grill and saw it had imperfections. Dust cap pushed in. Apparently it passed inspection and was ok’d to give to a customer. Now I gotta break my back packing it back up and sending it back to wait for a replacement. Never had such bad quality control issues. 2nd purchase I had to send back for replacement.

I bought them not to long ago. I put the STUDIO 590's together with the Sub 550 And together they rock the place.the DENON high power reciever makes it all happen.. oh. Yeah....
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great speaker but damaged.

Received the speakers and damaged. Ask to replace the grill but the return items need to be received prior the replacement process. This is the 3rd time I have to deal with the lost package and replacement. The product is good but the replacement policy is not line other retail stores.
I would recommend this to a friend!

jbl does not allow for honest reviews. they do not allow for horn driver upgrades on this speaker or fixes. jbl only list what reviews they want you to see. they do not list everyones reviews like other sites do. you do not get to here all the negative reviews people write about there products. jbl picks which negative reviews they want you to hear. jbl does not let you hear the truth about there products if people write negative reviews about there products. theres a plate inside speaker that keeps you from upgrading the horn driver or fixing it. jbl blocks you from fixing the horn if it breaks after 5 yrs an the warranty is gone. you cannot fix the horn if it quits playing after 5 yrs because jbl puts a box over the back of speaker an it cant be removed unless you destroy the speakers. the speakers are ok sounding if you got a high end tube amp to mate it with. there an adverage sounding speaker. the horn driver is harsh at higher volumes. i wanted to upgrade the horn driver but jbl blocked me from doing it because they put a box over the back of speaker an you cant get to speaker to take it off unless you destroy the speaker an speaker box. list this jbl an let people know the truth about what you doing. they deserve to know the truth about you blocking them from upgrading there horn driver or fixing it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very little base just a ok sounding speaker not worth the money

They sound excellent I think they should have been built a little smaller but they sound really good you may have a Raptor
