HORRIBLE ICEMAKER

We bought the Frigidaire Gallery Model #FGHF 2367TDO refridgerator Oct. 19, 2019 and have already called for repair of icemaker not making ice and when the repairman came in , the first thing he asked was did we have well water and we told him yes, but we have a filter on our well and have never had problems for the thirty years we have been here with other refridgerators and we also have food that if it is toward the back of the refridgerator, it will sometimes have ice forming around the container inside. We are having trouble again and thinking we need to buy a portable icemaker. There is only my husband and myself using the ice, so it's not like we use a lot of ice. We have not been happy with this appliance and we paid quite a bit for it and it is still within the one year guarantee, but I don't not want to keep calling for repair until it runs out and then have to pay for service calls. We have always bought Frigidaire appliances, but we might decide to look at some other brand if this can't be taken care of. I await your reply and if we can settle this in a correct way, I may have to get our local TV station involved but hope it doesn't come to that

Thanks for reaching out to us with your concerns. Since your water is supplied by a well you may have issues with the ice maker. If you haven’t already you will need to replace the water filter with a filter bypass. A bypass will not filter the water but will fit in the place of the filter housing and allow water to pass through unobstructed. Food items placed near the vents will tend to freeze, as these items will disrupt air flow. If possible, try not to place any items near the vents. If you need further assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out to us.

Great Overall Refrigerator

While performing a complete re-modeling of our kitchen this year, my wife and I were led to the Frigidaire Gallery line of Appliances by our contractor and we are glad he did this for us. Though it is a bit smaller than a regular refrigerator because of it's counter-top depth, you hardly notice since the interior is so conveniently laid out. There is an abundance of drawers in which to put items and the shelves are movable to accommodate larger items, when needed. The pull out drawer at the bottom for the freezer is also a welcome feature. We previously had a side-by-side unit into which little could be stored, so we are very pleased with this unit.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Black stainless looks nice. Disappointed no cold water dispenser I didn't notice it didn't have that before buying. Doors don't close all the way unless you push them closed. I'm not used to having to open both doors all the time, can't get in the drawers otherwise.

Ok Fridge, cheaply made drawer rollers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A little over a year in and both crisper drawer shelves have a broken rollers. The mounts on the shelf look to be poorly designed, especially for a higher load area. This should have been reinforced into the metal brackets. Or even a molded cross runner between the upper and lower ribs would have increased its strength.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I like the French Door style but the function did not live up to the Frigidaire name.
The ice maker doesn't make enough ice for two people. At least the freezer is large enough to hold bags of ice. We had to replace the ice maker because it dripped on our new floor and damaged the wood.
Also, the freezer could not keep ice cream frozen.
I give this model an F

Oh no! JanisA, I have some hints that may help with the slow ice production you are experiencing. Please check to ensure the water valve going to the refrigerator is all the way open. I lowered the temperature in my freezer by 2 degrees, and that seemed to help my slow ice production dilemma. I also added an ice bin in the freezer and emptied the upper bin first thing in the morning, and then again when I came home from work. Recommended water supply pressure should fall between 30 psi and 100 psi. Are you on a well or have a reverse osmosis system (these have variances with water pressure that may impact both water dispensing and ice production)? You will find more trouble shooting tips on page 36 in your Owner’s Manual. Please check the gasket around the freezer door for any gaps that may let cold air escape. Perfect Fit

The normal size bottom freezer refrigerators were all too deep, but his one fits nicely. We added the second ice maker in the freezer and I would recommend this if you tend to use any ice at all. The door ice maker just doesn't cut it for ice production. With the second ice maker, it keeps up for our needs. We are very satisfied with this refrigerator.
