Twist Focus Does Not Move

This is my second Coast Polysteel 600. And just like my first one, the twist-focus does not move. No matter how hard I try. I even tried using pliers. It wouldn't budge. I assumed that my first P600 was defective. I kept it, because it was a gift. Now my 2nd P600 has the same issue. There are complaints about this in the reviews AND other places online. One person got desperate and put WD40 on it. That didn't even work! People have been complaining about this for years. Why hasn't Coast done anything about it? Like I said, I am on my SECOND P600 that won't twist. I will not purchase this a third time, nor will I recommend it to others. And that's sad, because otherwise, it's a good flashlight. I just hate false advertising. It really gets under my skin.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
