Like an astral projection of illumination

The HL27 might look goofy or cumbersome, most head lamps do, but it comfortably attaches and can be adjusted to fit any persons head. The overstrap adds to the comfort by taking the load of the light and battery pack allowing the lamp to remain in place even when a person is running around vigorously. The adjustable beam allows for general illumination or can be focused to a narrower spot when doing precise fine work. In addition the lamp includes a wheel to dim light power to whatever setting is required which can extend battery life as well as reduce temporary blindness when switching from an up close task which otherwise would be far more bright than one at a distance. The adjustable tilt angle is perfect when switching between distance or general work to up close, or in instances when more light is desired to one's feet.
When adjusted correctly the headlight can be worn all day without discomfort or irritation.

Had it for a while and the led went out on it and they covered it replaced it with a new one and would of replaced it with another one my favourite light I have

I use headlamps and work lights every day. This is my favorite headlamp. AA batteries run much longer than AAAs. With the wide range of adjustability between the focusing beam and the brightness adjustment, you can use the light on dim (or slightly higher) along with focusing the light to spotlight which brightens the beam up adequately in most cases without using much battery power if that's critical. The headband is also very comfortable with the center strap you can leave it pretty loose and it stays in position better than just the perimeter headband alone. For the same performance reasons, my favorite work light is the Coast PM300. Both of these lights have all the power and brightness that I ever need with long run time. Highly recommended. I am a Coast fan. Great products.

This is a free replacement for my old one. Since I only use it about once every 6 months, I will have to wait to see how long it last. Lifetime warranty makes it worth buying.

great features and easy controls

I've been using this light for about 10 years. I've used this light constantly for all kinds of tasks.Works great when it's dark out and I need to snowblow my driveway that very long. I have tried other lights in the past but this light is my go to light for everything.I've only had one issue with the first one that I bought. The hinge broke but I really can't complain about that because of how much use I got from it. Customer service was fantastic about replacing it under their warranty. And I think it's really great that a company as large as Coast is will back their products all the way This isn't the only Coast product I own as I have several of their worklights and I know I can depend on them every time the need arises. And I don't think I'll be trying other products from other manufactures because the amount of time I used this headlamp was well worth the price I paid for it and I know that any other product would give me the amount of service that this light has given me. Keep up the great work!
