These are great flashlights. I used one in Africa at night to illuminate a water hole about 40 yds. away and lo and behold, a male lion was drinking water there.

Perfect for pilots

I’m a commercial pilot and I’ve been using this light for about six months now and I’m not sure how I ever lived without it! The independent switch for the red light makes sure you don’t blind yourself with the bright white light and is an essential feature for a pilot or anyone that needs to preserve their night vision. The white light is perfect for preflight inspections and walking in dark areas of the ramp late at night and the red light is great for checking paperwork and while in the cockpit. My only complaint is the short battery life (the reason I’m not giving it 5 stars) but by using rechargeable batteries and changing them after every trip I haven’t had any issues. Would highly recommend!

The size is great , the beam is very bright. The only draw back is the on off buttons are all wrong. The light comes on at a bump or in my pocket.
