Worth the extra money compared to its smaller brother Ac1200 ...as it Ac1200 was not good enough so exchanged it My router is at the ground floor wanted something strong enough to get good speed on second floor ... Installed it on first floor easy set With up dual band 5g works great ... getting speed up to 70-80 mbps Happy with it

Got this about 8 months ago and it has never worked well. Always dropping the signal and requiring reboots almost daily. We live in a town house and the signal doesn't even reach the bedrooms from the basement.
Save your money and find something else that is a better wifi booster

This WiFi extender worked fairly well for 14 months. My only initial complaint was that it is a large and leans forward when plugged into the wall.
After 14 months, the extender stopped working. I called D-Link support and they were unable to fix the extender. This was 2 months outside the 1-year warranty.

Purchased this to provide a stronger WiFi signal to the Nest Hub Max
Pro Setup was very simple WPS on router WPS on extender wait about 2 min connected. Nice unit design Clear connection indicators
Cons Staying connected proved problematic at times If you did a speed test while connected to the extender the unit would crash at 60Mbps every single time - then reboot. Because of this I returned it.

Bought this for working at home due to Covid-19. Only used 2 weeks, keep losing signal, now is red light only, even will not reset. For sure to return.

This product worked well for the first month then we had a power outage. I couldn’t get it to connect after that. I worked with the company and exchanged for a new one. Unfortunately, still no luck. Decided to change brands.

1 - bought 89 on sale at reg over 100. Now it shows 89 reg. Did it really on sale? 2 - took few hours to setup realizing wps and speed are not working. 1gb speed down to 1m to 0 speed!
