Under rated !!

Took a risk on trying this one. But did not regret it one bit! Phone is pretty snappy for a 4 series processor and yes after running 12 different apps it may have to refresh when going back to the 1st opened. But that is very minimal to me at least. Screen res is great and photos are on par with most devices priced at twice this ones range. My deal maker was the milit. standard rating ip68. Overall great buy and will use as a backup when traveling mostly!

Phone has gone downhill

Early purchaser that gave a high rating..now after software updates this phone has become so slow and at times unresponsive.
Wi-Fi issues galore and freezing, running hot and all around lag have destroyed the phone.
As a mid tier phone the processor is ok but as the software updates have come on the thing is just not able to push out power..maybe more ram was needed.
My phone is 2-3 months old and already getting it replaced. This phone is not worth it anymore. As more updates WILL come for the software this phone will get worse.

Sturdy Phone but does not support Miracast!!!!

Seems to be a sturdy phone but be warned, it is bare bones when trying to connect to TV. Does not support wifi Miracast, usb MHL or Slimport. Playing content over
the wifi direct seems to be limited to items in your phone's gallery. (Think jpeg or video files.) Still have not found a way to project the phone to the TV. Tried ScreenBeam but it only supports Miracast on Android. My old windows phone did better than this.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY

So slow!!!! when you see something you like and you wanted to take a picture of it, you call the camera and takes one....two....three.....four....five seconds and you see your face because you took a selfie yesterday and you didn't have time to switch to the rear camera. Then you swipe left or right to switch now and it takes one.....two....three and finally you get to the camera, you take the picture and one....two....three...and end up with a faded picture because you had to be super stiff when you took it. It takes 10-15 seconds to take a pic. not mentioning the stupid soft side buttons that you may press mistakenly while swapping between the cameras. Then I put the external memory ad got even slower. That's just one example. I bought it mainly for the 4100 mA battery and it turned out just normal battery life and if you want a real 2 days no charging you must turn off the wifi, bluetooth, GPS and not to talk on the phone a lot, this will take you up to one-and-a-half days. I would fix my old phone and reuse it and leave this one at home to cast Hulu on my TV and that's it.

Claims of durability worthless. Otherwise worth $
on September 6, 2017

Bought phone in June 2017 to replace Windows phone, line now discontinued. Before that had owned iPhones for years. I was tired of the fragility and high repair cost for iPhones. This phone seemed the best combination of apps and durability. Advertised claims that it would survive drops from 6 feet without damage, and dust and water resistance, were main reason for my purchase. I also bought the recommended screen cover to prevent small scratches.
However, within 3 months the screen has begun to chip at the edges, and has fine cracks radiating out from the chips. The phone has never been dropped or subjected to any damage at all. But, LG considers a screen chip or crack damage that is not covered. Doesn't matter how it happened. In other words, the advertised specs for durability are completely worthless.
Other than a disintegrating screen after 3 months, the phone works roughly as well as any other Android. The removable storage chip is great.

The front facing camera for when you are video calling is too dark. They can barely see me. I don't like that.

not a big fan at all

I got this phone due to it being cheaper in payments but you get what you pay for, its a great phone don't get me wrong, but if your used to Samsung don't buy , this phone is very sensitive and sends my texts out twice most of the time, I like using snap chat with my kids, but cannot use the video portion with this phone as it does not keep up with your facial speaking and is delayed, also when taking pictures switches over to videos very easily, not a fan
