The Good The Bad The Ugly

The Good:
Easy to set up
Fast charging time
Long battery life
Audio for music is exceptional
Ability to use multiple apps simultaneously
Video quality is amazing
Picture quality is outstanding

The Bad:
Size is a little big coming from a Samsung Galaxy Alpha
Rubber back can make it difficult to slid into your pocket
Screen leaves fingerprints

Purchased this phone about 1 month ago. So far, I love it. Upgraded from an LG G2 which I had for 4 years (best LG phone EVER!) and dreaded change...unfortunately, the touchscreen started to go.
Battery life on the X venture is terrific. Picture quality is great. Uncertain why others complain about the photo quality - if you want better pictures, don't use your phone for them! Durability is also good - I've had the phone slip out of my hands twice from a standing position and there is no damage on it anywhere. My only complaint about the phone is the screen is a dust magnet! :( Fingerprints are easy to wipe off, but the dust is there all the time. I expected better from a phone that came highly recommended for outdoor use.
I have had a tiny bit of trouble with a webpage locking up on me when I try to scroll too fast - probably my fault, and not a flaw in the phone. Easy fix - just restart the phone and it's back in working order again.
I am NOT a gamer and do not Facebook or Tweet. I use the phone for e-mail, checking news feed, some online research, texting and calling. Can't wait for spring so I can see how it works outdoors. The phone is perfect for my needs and fit my budget.

Good news:
1. Glove mode is brilliant!
2. Beyond super battery life
3. Fabulous camera (although that may be tainted since the camera on my old phone was terrible)
4. Ample memory for me
5. Fitness tracker kinda cool

Not so good:
1. After 2 days of use, a ghost in the machine appeared- A) While driving and the phone is in the console, the screen pops on with settings pulled up. Really annoying, especially at night. B) Switching screen pages sometimes didn't show the apps of the screen I swiped to. Had to swipe back and forth. C) Screen has gone black when switching between apps, as if there is a memory issue. This phone as 2GB which should be enough for switching between just 2 apps. Had to use the power button to turn screen off then on again. D) Playlists disappeared as well as other playlist songs were deleted and other songs added. This was not good since I am an elementary teacher and some potty mouth songs got on my school playlist. E) Personalized ringtones switched back to default.

There are just too many software/processing issues for me to put up with, which was the reason for upgrading in the first place, better performance. I am super disappointed and will be returning for a different phone only after a week.

do NOT recommend...terrible camera

The camera is terrible. The pictures are often blurry. I bought this phone because of the price. I thought it would be nicer than the cheapest Android smart phones but it really isn't. It is not worth the little bit of extra money.

Really enjoy the LG X - been using the Samsung Galaxy's models previously, which I also like. Certainly no drop off and does seem more user friendly.

Bought as a birthday present for my 14 year old daughter. Her review is that it is a good phone, does everything she needs and wants, but (her words) the camera sucks. My review, great phone for the price!

This thing for the most part is junk . its super slow . the camera you have to hold very still to take a clear photo the screen does not respond half the time and the phone has to be restarted daily. Don't try and run 2 things at once it will lock up
