I'm happy to write this review. I purchased my first West Bend ice cream maker a few years back and have loved it ever since. Many times I've wished for another when my family gets together. We love ice cream and this maker does the trick. Never misses a beat. Thanks

spoiled on first use

I followed all the instructions for use and tried to make an ice cream. However, at the end of 30 minutes, the ice cream spoiled with something metal that mixed with the dough, some piece disappeared and a hole was left in the metal container. I spoiled a lot of material, work and damage with the product. What happened? Who's going to fix it?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
