Not the same set sold by Pottery Barn for their easel!

The easel set is nice, but, it is not the same set sold by Pottery barn kids for that easel. I purchased the PB easel, the companion set was sold out. so, I went to Melissa and Doug web site to order. the paint cups do not work with the easel! Very disappointed.

I love their toys and they are great products, but be aware that not all easels take the same size paper. My grandmother bought an easel with a 15" wide wood dowel for the paper and the accessory set she bought only has an 18" wide paper roll. It's not a make or break item but still slightly frustrating.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We haven't used all the pieces yet, but the paint brushes passed with flying colors with colored paint soap in the tub with a 4 year old to rave reviews (and repeat requests). Looking forward to slightly less messy paint sessions with the nifty cups. The chalkboard eraser also works great.
