This camera has great quality pictures, is a lot of fun to use, very user friendly and easy to figure out with a lot of great add-ins to make it a great overall experience.

Great upgrade from my point and shoot camera

This was exactly what I was looking for in a camera. Since I have only had 35MM and point and shoot digitals, and really no photography training, I leave it on SMART often. It takes awesome photos. I am really happy with it. Now I just need to plan the vacation to really put it to use. One problem I had was that the "record" button was too easy to accidentally press. I was at a flower show and accidentally took video a few times. Other than that, it's great.
Pros: Durable, Realistic color

wow is all i can say this camera is absolutely ahmazin , i just got it today in pink and i have been taking a ton of pics and video , love that it has wifi and i can pause video , its just awesome, lightweight and super easy to use samsung has truly outdone theirselves . definately the best camera ive ever owned and will own . so if u wanna truly be in charge of ur pictures . in every aspect then this is the camera for u

Solid camera

I'm giving four instead of five stars because the camera doesn't let you WiFi photos at large resolutions. But if that feature is not important to you this is a five star camera.
This is my first digital camera with removable lens. This allowed me to connect it to an adapter and use it with my 540mm focal length 101mm apochromatic refractor telescope. It worked really well and I have some great detailed shots of the San Francisco waterfront area and some ship traffic from a dock in Oakland.
I also like the special effect filters that come in the camera.
It connects well to an ipad and the auto adjust feature on the iPhoto app worked perfectly to color balance the telescope lens shots, which the camera couldn't do by itself since it wasn't designed to be used with my telescope. All I all, I got everything I wanted.

Poor Image Quality

I was so excited to receive this camera, love the soft pink look, very pretty and the huge display. Upon receiving this camera I made sure I fully charge it. When I first took my first image shot, the picture quality was very poor, a lot of mixtures of color. some images appear blk/white with no color some had color. At first I thought it may be the setting, so I try to shot using various setting, and same thing happen. Self portraits appeared blk and white with no color at all. I was very disappointed, had to send it back for a refund.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Surprisingly good!

When you think of quality cameras, you often think of Canon or Nikon first. However, this camera easily matches the quality and features of other cameras for this price. My only complaint is that it takes too much time to process images after shooting them; that being said, it works very well for still photography, where you can afford some waiting.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: slow image processor
