amazing kitchen technology that's well worth the investment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since receiving my Panasonic Countertop Induction Oven, I've been thrilled at how easy it is to cook in. I've done steaks, small pork roasts and chicken. The food comes out flavorfull and much faster than the regular oven, with out heating up the entire kitchen. the only problem we've had is that we need to keep the manual with the cooking times nearby, as the food cooks so much faster and we need to learn to adjust our expectations. I would highly recommend for people with a busy life, this makes dinner time so much easier.
Thank you Panasonic and HouseParty for supplying me with this amazing kitchen technology in exchange for my honest review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This oven was crazy easy to use. Toss your meat in the middle then fill up the sides with veggies, pop in the oven, set timer and go have a glass of wine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the pre-programmed settings on this smart oven, it makes things easy! I do wish it was a little bigger though. Also, I was hoping the induction technology would mean that the outside of the oven would not get so hot, but it definitely does! I was hoping to put my breadbox on top, but no go. I like cooking toast in it, so I was able to get rid of my toaster oven. I can bake in it, though I need to remember to cover with foil so the top of the dish does not burn since its so small and therefore close to the top. I LOVE LOVE LOVE cooking steak in it. So much better than going outside (especially in the winter) and firing up a big grill for a few steaks. I made some steaks that were fast, easy and delicious in this oven. Not sure how I'd use it for cookies, as I used to use my toaster oven a lot, but it works good for pizza! I received this oven free to try out and share my honest opinion. I like it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this item as a free party pack but I would completely buy it in a heartbeat! The BEST steaks you can make without a grill. It's perfect for a couple who wants decent meals, but has very little time. The food is great, and you use no oil, making it healthier. This is NOT a toaster oven... buy a toaster if you want toast. If you want amazing home made healthy easy meals, but this!!

Panasonic has a winner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay...a whole new way of cooking. There's a learning curve for sure. First off it uses induction and infra red heating elements. There's a grilling tray that pretty well serves as your cooking base that sits on the induction element (and weighs in at six pounds by the way so it's no flip of the wrist to get it out). There's pre-heating and six rather odd pre-sets for Chicken and veggies (you can cook two zones at different temps at the same time - and it works pretty good too) Fish and veggies, just Fish, Frozen Pizza (12 & 9 "), Toast & Bagels.
We wanted to try it out for steaks. I'm getting less and less enamored of going out and firing up the old grill these days to grill four or five steaks for an quick family meal, takes too much energy. Well I'm here to tell you that this thing grills steaks to perfection. I did four loin strips yesterday about 16 oz each. Marinated overnight and ready to hit the hot grill. You just select grill, and then medium-high for heat level, and push start and preheating begins and beeps when finished. Throw on the steaks (being careful and using oven mitts etc...everything is very hot) and if you want medium, which my family does, it'll grill for 14-15 minutes with you turning the steaks over at 7 minutes. Now the part of this cooking process that fascinates me it the part that was Japanese designed to mist the oven around the cooking food with the juices etc which keeps the steaks moist on the inside and perfectly grilled on the outside. So it really cooks with three processes, induction, infrared, and misting. I'm here to tell you those steaks came out better than on my gas grill!!!
She who must be obeyed cooked chicken with veggies using the combo cooking and the chicken was cooked through browned on the outside juicy on the inside and the veggies were roasted and tender. She was impressed. The unit comes with a hardcover cookbook with recipes. The instruction manual is included. The oven is solidly constructed and looks very nice on our kitchen counter.
My only gripe is it's only big enough to fix a meal for maybe four max. So this is something that will cook in a few minutes and do combo meals for a small family or a young single or couple but that's it. Unless you want to do two batches. Clean up is easy since you burn off most of the food particles left over with the broil function and then cool and clean afterwards.
It's pretty pricey, but show me a new innovation that isn't these days. It's first generation here in the United States so bear that in mind.
Overall, I'm thrilled with the way it grills meat, and that's all I wanted it for, so I'm recommending it without hesitation. She who must be obeyed said she loved the combo cooking and will be using it to do meals for her and I when we're alone so she'd give it five stars too.
If you'd been over here and tasted those steaks (better than my gas grill) you'd buy it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is amazing I was able to not only cook many of the things I needed for the party, but I was able to keep them warm and fresh as well. It was easy to use and my kids thought it was fun to watch so it has great entertaining purposes...
