Works great! strong and fairly easy to clean. This is my second Oster blender. The last one lasted about 12 years of frequent use until a friend killed the motor with stringy spinach stems. So of course I was going to get the same brand.

The blender worked great for 4 days, and then the rubber ring broke. I was surprised when it started leaking while I was blending and even more upset to find a piece of rubber in my drink.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
