I adore Samsung Televisions so much so I plan on getting a 50 inch or larger to hang on the wall in my family room. I've never heard of anyone not liking their Samsung TV. Great picture & sound. The screen is crystal clear. My friend has two 60 Samsung televisions. I stay with her every other month. So yes I'm in love with hers.

This TV came well packaged. It was very easy to assemble the feet and go through the initial setup when first turned on. Everything was done automatically. All I did was press the enter key a couple of times. Very clear sharp picture with very good color. Even the sound, sounded good. Connecting a DVD player was straight forward. Excellent picture/sound via the DVD player. I would recommend this TV to my friends, as I am very pleased with its performance.

Excellent, especially for the price. Amazing picture, couldn't ask for better at this price range. Occasional volume issue, for some reason the volume control stops working after awhile and you have to cut the TV power off and back on to get it to respond, an annoyance that I've been meaning to research and/or call Samsung on, there's probably a fix. Audio is great for this range as well, if you set it up right. Out of the box it's pretty dismal, but once you set it up properly and adjust the settings, most especially check the volume range setting on your DVR or other connected device. In your DVR's deeper device settings you have to set the volume range to Narrow rather than wide, otherwise you won't be able to turn the TV up loud enough to enjoy it, once that's done it's great. There are some useful audio settings/effects that improve the audio greatly once you have your DVR audio range set to narrow (it's counterintuitive but narrow gives you a much wider range from low to high). If you have your computer set up with Dolby Advanced Audio or Dolby Home Theater you can really get better than expected audio (keeping in mind this is relative to the price range and basic level of this TV), I was surprised at what great sound I got from my PC to this TV using Dolby's audio drivers/user interface settings., and of course you can connect external speakers and set up surround sound. Besides the volume control shutdown issue, I'd say I'm not too sure how I feel about the feet on it, they are not very stable and are a bit flimsy, but they do the job. Rambunctious kids could be an issue around this TV unless you wall mount it, and it's set up to be wall mounted and has some hardware with it to do just that, although you do need to purchase a wall mount bracket. It has all the connections you need for home use, modest home theater or for use as a computer monitor, combo RCA/Digital RCA (RGB), two HDMI inputs (one more would be nice), one USB (also could use one more, but not a major issue), Digital/Optical audio output and one Coax in, but who wants to look at that, unless you just have to, good for backup if your DVR goes belly up. Overall, despite a couple of minor issues that are easy to work around (and like I said, the volume lockup issue probably has a simple fix, I've just put off looking into it), it's really excellent for being a basic level HDTV, especially considering the price you can pick it up for if you're smart about it and you look around. I'd buy this TV again (and I did, got two of em about two weeks apart), and I'd highly recommend it to friends/family or anyone on a budget that wants a TV with a crisp, bright, sharp perfectly colored picture that looks like much bigger dollar signs. (There's a backlight feature to, and a number of other lighting settings, as well as a sports setting, among others.). If I could I'd put one in every room of the house, heck, in the garage & shed as well.

Cons: flimsy small plastic feet, occasional volume lockup requires power cycle

The 60" smart TV bought for daughter for Christmas has her totally enthralled. She loves it. So husband promptly decided we had to have a 32"for our rv bedroom.

Before purchasing, I read a Consumer magazine that rated this TV number one rating it with other 32 in TVs. I also read other consumers which is always great to have.
This is an excellent TV. The Consumer Magazine rated the sound fair. I rate the sound very good. I have this TV in my bedroom and have the setting down to 8. The set up is easy and does have a plug and play option. The picture quality is also very good using a HDMI connection. I paid a great price.
If you are 15 feet away, you may want a larger TV but for a normal size bedroom, this TV is perfect. I am also rating this TV excellent in features, performance, etc. Keep in mind my rating is for a 32 inch TV. A 50+ inch TV features are different and you cannot compare a 32in to a 50in TV.
