This camera sees all and is very clear. Detail is fantastic. People’s faces are very clear as are number plates.

Fogs up

i have the 16 camera system it fogs up all the time and right now one of the lenses totally is cracked.. they are located up high not sure if the cold to heat caused it.

Not Good!

Bought this (with NVR16-8000) two years ago for our Church. Out of 6 cameras installed, only two are working. The other 4 do not work (cables are intact, verifed). Do not recommend this system/cameras.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

There are many variables as to why your cameras have since become faulty. The most common reason for the damage is using the camera outside of its operating range. This can/will lead to permanent damage. Please know that Swann offers a 1-year warranty provided a copy of your receipt or 18-months with valid registration. Outside of this time frame, we are unable to cover your camera at no extra cost.

This camera requires a hardwired connection to a compatible Swann recorder. This model has since been discontinued and will not be making a return within the near future. Would not recommend this product.

bought this NVR16-8000 system 4 years ago. Three of the cameras have stopped working outside of the warranty period. One was an outside camera but the other two were mounted indoors away from any harsh weather conditions. Replacement cameras are not available for purchase anymore so, no I would not recommend this product as replacement parts are not available.

Although IP66 is weatherproof, the outside of the camera is still subject to frost, ice, and dew when out in the open air. We recommend you install under some sheltered location where possible but if this is not suitable for your location simply aiming the camera to look a little downward can stop moisture from settling on the camera lens. Swann offers a one-year warranty provided a copy of your receipt or up to 36 months with valid registration on a Secure + Plan. Outside of this timeframe, we are unable to process a replacement free of charge.
