Nice Storage Copacity, But That's It

Three days after our refrigerator was delivered, and per the manufacturer's recommendation of dumping out around 2 gallons of water from the dispenser before using it, I discovered that the water dispenser gives out warm water, not even cool. Got the service guy out (he came in 2 days), and found nothing wrong. He found there was a long water line running from the bottom of the fridge winding its way up to the top. He said that the water starts our cold on the bottom but by time it reaches the top it's warm. That's the way it was designed. Also, there is about a 3 to 4 degree temperature difference between the recommended panel setting of 37 degrees and the inside of the refrigerator which registers about 40 degrees. I lowered the panel setting to 36 degrees and the inside of the refrigerator now fluctuates between 39 and 40 degrees. If you buy a refrigerator, invest in an inside thermometer to keep an eye on the temperature. Had no problem with the ice maker though, and the crispers kept the vegetables and fruit fresh longer than my old fridge did. Contacted the place where I bought this fridge, and they agreed to let me do a one time exchange for any other refrigerator I wanted. Now that's great customer service.

I love the design!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 2.5 months before my new home was finished, so I haven't had it a real long time, but so far, I LOVE IT!! The black stainless steel finish is fingerprint and smudge-proof resistant, and cleaning it is a breeze. My old fridge was black, not this make or model, and just awful to clean and the fingerprints showed all over it. Every time I tried to clean it, whatever I was using to wipe it with left hundreds of scratches & smears. It was awful, so I did not want a repeat of that. This refrigerator looks fabulous in my new kitchen with the other black appliances. The ice maker makes a lot of ice, and the cubes are a little bit smaller, and I like that. The crushed ice & water dispenser work perfectly. I did not want another side by side, because the freezer space was not utilized very well at all. The pull out freezer drawer in this is wonderful, and so much more efficient .. and I do not have frozen food falling out every time I open it, like the side by side I used to have. The shelves are adjustable, the LED lights make everything in there easy to see, and the temp is spot on. I have owned a lot of refrigerators in the past, and this is by far my very favorite. I would purchase it again, and I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to buy a new refrigerator. This will not disappoint ...

A ton of space but only gives warm water

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love the space in the refrigerator and freezer but what we can't stand is you only get warm water from the dispenser. I don't usually put ice in my water but it's so warm you have to. Plus it doesn't seem to many enough ice to even keep up with a family of 4 so we have to buy bags of ice. It's pretty frustrating.

We purchased the refrigerator as a suite with the stove, fridge, microwave & dishwasher in November 2017. It took a couple months to get them but within a few months after getting the fridge up and running, we noticed a rattling noise occasionally (kind of like a buzzer going off) which is the fan hitting something. If you open the fridge door, the fan stops and so does the noise. We called Frigidaire customer support and they set up a an appointment for repair. In the last 2 years we have called Frigidaire support and had the appliance repair people out 4 times for the same issue and we still have the same occasional noise but the noise is even louder now than in the past. I called them again today (Jan 28, 2020), for the fifth time. The appliance repair people contact the manufacturer each time they come to do a repair and install upgraded parts as instructed by the manufacturer, that are suppose to fix the problem but nothing has eliminated the noise. That said, I would not recommend this appliance.

Exceeded my expectations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this fridge to replace a 1985 side by side fridge and I cannot believe the difference. This one is so much quieter and the lights are amazing! The French door design is so much more user friendly in both the freezer and fridge areas. I love the size of the ice, it is just perfect to fit into smaller water bottles. I love the adjustable shelves and right now I am utilizing both of their adjustable features. I do wish that I could stack both of the drawers on the left side under the ice maker for more utilization. I purchased the black stainless steel and it is a breeze to clean. The color is just perfect.
