I really like the looks and features of this range. The reason for 3 stars. Ever since I got it, you turn on the burners and it shuts itself off. Sometimes it does it a couple of times. It will not act up when the repairman comes so far they have not figured out what is causing it. I assume GE will give me another range if they can't fix it. I will put the rating up to 5 stars if they can fix this. So for now I will have to check no I would not recommend to a friend.

I purchase this range and had it installed a couple weeks ago. I am totally very happy so far so good. I love the ability of the gas, the oven is working excellent I have not tried the convection as of yet but Iam sure it will do wonders over all Iam truely very sastify

Love cast iron griddle

I am so happy with this purchase. The features are just great. The cast iron griddle is a must. I don't have to worry that someone will scratch it. Another bonus feature is the the rolling rack. I cook a lot using a big heavy Dutch oven and this will make it much easier to check on during the cooking.

Great Appliance - minor issue

love the new Range but a bit let down with an issue that needs the GE technician to come and fix. Oven light won't turn off so the oven perceives the door to be open and won't let you use it. Work around - unscrew the light. Understand things happen and still very happy with the product

Performance and looks are good. The burners are a problem, however. They clog up very easily.

We acquired this unit as part of our new home, upgraded to this model. In summary, it just works! Not a lot of bells and whistles, but if you are looking for a versatile, efficient gas range, it is hard to beat. Plus, cleaning the burner area is as simple and straightforward as you can get. The oven is self-cleaning, so its a snap. My only quibble with it is that the preheat time for the oven is a bit long...but the results you get from using it make up for the long prep time.
