Pannel stip is toooo hot. 152 degrees

Purchased this with new house. The front strip where the knobs are located heats to 142 Degrees and is a safety threat. You can not place your fingers on this panel without burning your finger. Real safety feature for children. Should be recalled by GE.

Love the high output front burner

Love how quickly the high output burner boils a pot of water and returns the pot to a boil after ingredient addition.

Great oven except large burner

This really is a great oven/stove but I hate the big, double burner. If the outside is on, it's way too hot for anything practical, if you turn it down to the little one, it's tiny and not good for much either. I wish there was a way to turn down the amount of gas applied to the burners b/c I rarely go over a 4 and I cook many different things. If you don't need to use all 5 burners at once though, you can get away with only using the double burner for boiling water quickly and it's really a great product.

Buyer Beware! No Stars but they dont allow

The Broiler element goes on and off regardless of Traditional or Convection modes! Therefore the "large" capacity is hugely diminished as you can no longer cook/bake using the top shelf. I hope GE realizes their mistake and offers a cutoff switch to remedy this horrific issue. By the way, I only discovered this isssue after using the first time and there was a huge fire in the oven as I had no clue the broiler would be going on WITHOUT my setting it! Whoever heard of such a thing? To have a broiler turn on in Bake mode???? I am so sad I bought this oven. Buyer beware!!!!

The top cover was defective because some of the surface material was coming off but it was quickly taken care of.
