top oven..rack is so close to door and have trouble pulling it out when i have a dish on it...otherwise great so far!

First-Rate Free-Standing Electric Range

We purchased this range two months ago to replace a GE-Profile Slide-in. What first attracted us to it is its double-oven, including true-convection in the lower oven, and "bridging" feature of the two left top burners. Our experience so far has been great. Burner temps are more precise and the oven(s) are very even in the way they bake. We have not yet used the broiler.

This GE double oven is great

I have been using this GE double oven for over 3 months, and it meets all of my expectations. The ovens and the burners heat up quickly and do an excellent job of maintaining the temperature. It cleans easily, and the appearance of the stove is great.

P8950SFSS GE Profile 30" Double Oven w/Convection

Our house is just about a year old. We wanted a GE Profile double oven with a gas range top. But, we could not find this combination listed. We are comfortable with electric range tops from the past 45 years of using one. I rarely rate any product at the highest mark because that is unrealistic. I personally detest stainless steel appliances because the surfaces never look clean to me. But, I gave in to the desire of my wife to be as trendy as everyone else seems to be. I predict that ten years from now, potential buyers of existing houses with have an ewwww factor to all of the houses with scratched up hard wood floors and dated looking stainless steel appliances.

Fabulous Cooking Features

I always have bought and was pleased with GE appliances but with the purchase of my stainless steel free standing double oven range with convection, it far surpasses all my expectations. All the features are top notch which and are up to date with today's digital technology. From the radiant heat smooth cooktop to the European convection oven. All the controls are easy to use and they are a cooks delight. There's even a certified Sabbath mode. I can cook on the stovetop with all types of pot sizes, and the bridge features make it easy to cook with large soup pots. Clean up is a cinch because both ovens have self clean features. The new feature for me is the warm mode on the stovetop and I just love it. All in all, this GE stove is great. I did a lot of research on this model before I bought it and it has met all my "must haves". I couldn't be happier. This stove is a winner in my book.

I upgraded my builder stove with this new GE stove. I absolutely love it.
I have a convection oven and a regular oven, and I use them both all the time.
