Almost state of the art

We replaced a very old unit so this is obviously tons better. Cooks quickly and evenly. Easy to use. The only negative is the fan that cools it down. It runs for sometimes 15 minutes after we have used it, and it is pretty loud. But it serves a purpose so we aren't too bothered by it. Opening the oven door reduces the time it takes to cool it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Replacement!

Replaced 20+ year old Jennair ovens. Delivery was great - took my old ovens away. Installation was very straight forward - some basic electrical experience and you can do this yourself (if you can find the breaker, you can probably do this). Ovens have worked great these first several weeks. Like the light function and straight forward controls.

LOVE this double oven!

Disappointed by the quality of materials.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using the oven for a few months the oven bottom surface started to bend - just like a cheap cookie sheet that is made of thin metal and warps when exposed to heat!
I am so disappointed, I thought Bosch standards are higher then the average and feel like a have made the wrong choice.

Off to a rocky start

We purchased this Bosch double oven to replace our roughly forty year old Thermador. A few days after the installation, we tried the self cleaning mode in the upper oven. Less than ten minutes after we started, the inside glass on the door spontaneously shattered. The Bosch warranty people and their local service contractor effected the repair courteously and efficiently, so we were back up and running in about two weeks. Otherwise, compared to our old Thermador unit, the Bosch takes longer to warm up, is noisier, and blows air out into the kitchen rather than out of the house. On the other hand, it heats to an accurate temperature and evenly. It also has many high tech features which may or may not be of use to us. Overall, at this early juncture, it is a mixed bag.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
