Great Wall oven!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this double oven - my old oven now seems tinny in comparison. The doors are solidly built, the racks are nice and sturdy and the oven knobs are heavy duty. The preheat time is about average, it takes about 13 minutes to reach 350. It would have been nice if it displayed the temperature as it preheated, though. The heat seems to distribute evenly in both ovens and the food comes out perfectly. I would have just taken off just 1/2 star if I could for the timer since it's a little awkward to program, hard to hear and the volume can't be adjusted. But that's a small price to pay for all the positive features. I definitely recommend this oven.

Really disappointed

We bought this on Oct. 2014 and recently it not only stopped working, but we have had the repair man out twice and he says it is the computer board. Evidently it shorted out and burned a hole in the metal. We will never buy another Bosch product if it is only going to last 2 1/2 years.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fan annoyingly loud

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were excited to have a Bosch appliance package in our new home but the oven is disappointing. The fan has gotten progressively louder and now after two years sounds like a jet engine. The oven works but I will be replacing the fan. One other minor aggravation is the sensitivity of the control panel. Very difficult to adjust.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just replaced a 20 year old oven....new oven really brightens up the kitchen and looks high tech!. Preheats in 15 minutes compared to 30 minutes for my old oven.

The only thing I would have any complaints about is that its load when the oven is working. But it cooks evenly. I can't wait to use it to make my holiday cookies!

My suggestion is that you add. a lever to vent the oven either inside for cold wintery days or outside for hot summer days.Thanks.

Great Performance and Look

Our new Bosch oven preheats quickly and cooks great! Controls are easy to learn and the oven looks great. We bought the HBL5551UC double oven. It is a great value for a top brand. We have cooked at high and low temperatures with great success. I wish setting the timer and temperature was a little better designed, but for the price this oven is a must buy!
