Pretty happy with my new ovens

I like the ovens overall except that a keypad with numbers on it would be much easier to deal with for the temperature and timer. I had to buy an extra timer because the one on the oven is difficult to work with. Also, the ovens came with a huge dent in the back that doesn't currently (and hopefully never will) affect their operation.

A great oven!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great oven! It is spacious and generally easy to use. The controls take some time to get used to them, as they have their own "personality" for setting temperature, time, etc. But other than that, this is a quality product!

Oven can't hold temperature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this oven for over 5 years. It was part of an upgrade package from the builder (all kitchen appliances are Bosch). I have calibrated it several times, yet the temperature varies on both the top and bottom ovens.
I purchased a separate hanging temp gauge just to check and it has confirmed this.
Some of the more specific problems I have encountered:
- When I set the top oven to a certain temp and the indicator beeps that it is at temp, the oven is always is lower than the set temp.
- if I open the door to stir or remove a dish, then retiirn it, the oven temp falls dramatically even tho I do not leave the door open for that long.
- the top oven takes forever to reach temp and when it falls as stated above, it takes even longer to return to temp.
- the bottom oven has the opposite problem. It cooks hot so for both top and bottom, I am always compensating and guessing at the setting for the various foods.
I feel that these 'higher end' ovens should not have these problems and I am very disappointed with each Bosch appliance I have (Double oven; dishwasher; refrigerator)

Infuriating timer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The oven works well but the timer is impossible. I wondered if it was just my oven but 'David' is having the exact same problem. I am about to build a new home and this is SO annoying that I will not be choosing a Bosch oven again.

Annoying timer and heat control

The temperature setting and timer setting control panel goes from slow movement to rapid fast forward causing you to constantly overshoot and having to go back. There needs to either be a number panel or no ridiculous acceleration in choosing settings.
