[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife wanted a chef's kitchen so we decided on this 500 series oven. Great choice. It heats up quick and it also cooks evenly. The controls are easy to use and reach. We love the rack which has a place to pull it out and it is very stable. On top of that the modern design looks great.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We built our house 26 years ago and our built in wall oven was a Whirlpool. Over the years, our whirlpool oven had a few hiccups and we had to replace the display and controller. We finally decided to try a stainless steel oven and get rid of the old white thing in our kitchen. We picked Bosch because it has a good name and we thought it would last a while. A local dealer came to the house, took out the old oven, and installed this new oven. We really like the mix of analog and digital controls and the oven is very quiet compared to our old Whirlpool oven. So, far, the new oven works great and we like all the baking options available. The only real issue we have involves setting the timer. The controls are very sensitive and sometimes a quick press on the up or down time arrows make the oven go up or down too fast so it goes way beyond the setting you wanted. So, you have to go back and try to get the temp you want by very quickly hitting the buttons. There could be some new design work there. Overall, we are very happy with this oven and would recommend this oven to anyone.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The oven has a nice clean look and works well. Only complaint is the very cumbersome buttons to set temp and timer.
This is our second Bosch double oven, our first being in a former home. While the same series as the one we owned before moving, it could use two features: 1. a louder timer signal when the set time has lapsed, and 2. a quicker preheating period. It can take up to 30 minutes to heat to 350 degrees F. Otherwise the new ovens are wonderful, accurate, and distribute heat evenly in any mode.
