Watch Seems OK -- Documentation Is Terrible

For many years I was a software programmer. Then I was a manager of software development. If I ever had a programmer who produced such terrible documentation, I would fire them immediately. The watch is VERY complex and the documentation does not even come close to explaning how to use its functionally. There are things that it does that are not mentioned. There are a number of videos but they are no better.

The S60 is extremely versatile. The set up was easy, however navigating all the screens and understanding where they take you can be difficult. It would be better if the user manual was expanded instead of having to go online to see the answers. It would also be nice to have a cheat sheet on a small laminate card giving you a guide to the different menu options to carry with you until you are able to learn the entire watch.

Well,this is the 4th Garmin that I have gotten and I absolutely hate it. It doesn't show me where the hazards are like my G4 does and it's terribly complicated to use.
When I press the return key, it never goes back to where I was and when I push the action key, it doesn't do much at all.

The watch is very good. The directions on how to use it are vague at best. The icon dial? No instructions or explanation of what the icons are or how to use them. There is no direction on how to turn the watch off. It does, however keep time very well.

excellent watch for golfers and it improve my game too.
compared with golf buddy , it is a bit slacking in service support.
not to mentioned price as Garmin would be pricier. Anyhow keep it up with the good work.

Battery runs fast

Great product but the battery runs out fast. Would last over 36 holes in a day.

Depending on usage the Approach S60 can have a battery life of up to 10 hours while golfing and 10 days using as a smartwatch.

Super, I enjoy it more than I expected.

This was a gift, and I helped pick it out, but I'm even happier with it than I thought I would be. I mostly wanted it for the golf GPS functionality, but I've been very pleasantly surprised with the integration with my iPhone and some other nice features such as Do Not Disturb, steps tracking, and just plain being cool.
