Syncing Problem

Very difficult setting up (synching) watch with mobile app. Garmin Express does not support Approach S60. "Sending Software Update" has been showing for 3 days. On watch, can't get pass 3 screen:language, wrist, mileage. Absolutely frustrating!!

Great Features

The metronome is great before the round. Very accurate GPS. Plays like distance is more than arrows, but distances change.

Issues

So far the results have been mixed. The watch repeatedly jumps to the wrong hole. In addition the yardage’s listed to the front and the back of the greens are incorrect. I shoot the flag with a laser range finder and several times based on the s60 the flag isn’t even located on the green. The watch routinely uses at least 50%or more of the battery in one round. I updated the software and will give it one more try and if no improvement it will be returned.

I have had the approach S60 for only 2 weeks. Love the golf features used to date. Very accurate yardages.

I used it for the first time. Had some trouble adjusting starting hole on a shot gun start, 8th hole versus 1 and then 1 versus 18. So far I am happy!

Mostly OK...A Few Quirks

Been using for about 4 months. Generally works great but I have experienced issues with the device getting "stuck" and not advancing to the next holes. Usually I just manually advance it to the correct hole but at least a couple of times, that didn't work.
I wish the scoring feature offered more options...fairway left/right, penalty, OB, etc. Without that, I use a different device for scoring details.
Zooming in for distances to specific targets is nice, but can be kind of tight with a small device. But it's workable.
Overall, very nice. Improves pace of play. Just some small things I wish were better.
