I have used my watch about five rounds so far, currently I’m on using it for distance to pin and hazards, I have not tried keeping score with it yet but so far live it.

Exceeded my expectations. Only played 1 round but it was easy to use. Love the touch screen with ability to pinpoint hole location. Non golf features are also impressive.

Used for 5 rounds ,,, much better and easier to use than sky caddie ,,, easy to read in direct sunlight and dark sunglasses ,,, tracks stats to analyze later ,,, wish I had transitioned to Garmin products earlier

Golf
Good:
I like its use of elevations to compute the 'plays like' distances
I like the auto shot distance calculations.
There are plenty of statistics available but the few times I've tried to keep stats, it seemed too distracting. Perhaps, after several times the data input would be more automatic and not slow the round down.
Not good:
Thought there would be distance to hazard readings as advertised in the marketing
https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/p/554662
"Quickly gets your location using GPS to show precise yardages to greens, hazards and doglegs"
Seems like the only way to get distance to hazards is to fat finger the small screen. I have a Garmin S7 that provides the info at a fraction of the cost.
I play the senior tees and discovered there a number of local courses for which only white or white and blue tees are provided. Not a big deal unless I'm keeping track of my handicap (another potential problem area as I thought handicap calculation would be automatic after a number of rounds.)
Fitness:
Good
In general, I like the ability to keep track of fitness goals like miles and calories. Garmin Connect seems to do a pretty good job of collecting and reporting the info.
Not so Good:
There are a few apps for which calories don't seem to be calculated; for example strength.
I purchased the Garmin heart rate monitor thinking the watch would use it as a factor in computing calories like some other products out there.
I also purchased the components for biking - cadence and speed monitors. They seem to be used to compute mileage and calories on my spin bike but not sure how useful they are on the road bike.
I called support to try and get more info on what metrics were used and couldn't get a straight answer.
Summary:
The watch has many many features and, overall, I find it useful for my activities; biking, spinning and golf even though there is room for improvement. Would also be nice to have distances to hazards, all tee box choices available and better use of the heart rate monitor for computing calories for strenuous work that don't involve traveling from point a to b.
Not sure support is up on all the functionality.

Hi woodster,
Thanks for the review. The Approach S60 even with an ANT Heart Rate Monitor connected, will not accumulate calories for an activity based on heart rate data, because it's not supported by Firstbeat (software that allows calories to be calculated using heart rate only). GPS data is needed to calculate calories. As for the missing golf tees this can be corrected by reporting it to our course mapping team, you can report issues through the following FAQ. https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=c3x0yFvYJJ6OAhq5iX1Kq5&productID=554662&searchQuery=request%20an%20update
