LG double oven: cooktop hard to keep clean

It has a glass electric cooktop and I find myself cleaning it every time I use it. I see "ghost" stains after I have used the same burner after cleaning it. Can someone help me?
I bought the recommended cleaning product and cleaning sponge. The immediate stain, spill goes away, but as soon as I use the cooktop again-there is the same echo of a stain.

But I had done some research and that’s the one I thought I wanted. Am so glad I pursued it. Absolutely love this stove. Bakes very even, everything has come out great. Really like the choice of burner sizes. We usually use the smaller upper oven. But the larger bottom and being to choose 2 different temperatures came in handy for Thanksgiving. It was a bit more expensive than I had planned, but wouldn’t give it up.

Great features, but dangerous

I use the smooth top for prep etc and with the microwave on top, I’ve accidentally turned on the stovetop by leaning. This last time, it cost me a crockpot, since it burned the feet. I love the features otherwise, but the knobs turn way too easily!!!

We purchased this range when we remodeled our kitchen and choose LG appliances based on our past experience and overall satisfaction of LG products. The big reason for the low rating is my disappointment that a switch is already bad just after the warranty expired. We are satisfied with its functionality and performance otherwise of being an average range. I just expected a little more out of this range for the cost and was disappointed in the switch breaking so quickly.
