Pandemic air filtration

Have had Alen air purifier for a year, excellent product as described and choice of air filters that meet individual needs makes this best product for all. I am so pleased I purchased a second for my daughter who is an elementary teacher to use in the classroom as they go back to in person teaching during pandemic.

Soporific Disappearance

I had a severe mold spore problem in my trailer. I had a company fog the trailer to stop the mold growth. The next obvious step was an air purifier to maintain a clean interior. I found ALEN purifiers online and was impressed with their ability to keep many types of toxics from circulating. I feel that I can breath easier with the cleaner air.

Having experienced my friends Alen air purifier I felt confident that an Alen air purfier would work for my home.
I ordered the 700 sq ft unit.
I ordered the 700 sq ft unit.
Very soon after receiving it, I began using it. I am a light smoker and after running it for just an hour or 2 it cleared my 12 x 15 room. Because I don't have an open floor plan I like that the unit is lightweight and portable. The easy carry handle, molded into the unit is a good design. Although , I can't compare it to other brands. The unit is fairly quiet (low decibels)

For the Office

We bought it for the office because we were concerned about shared recirculation in our building. With our Alen working quietly away all day while we are here, completely filtering our air regularly, our concern is greatly reduced.
We rarely think about now although whenever I see our glowing unit it helps renew our confidence.

The experience buying the Flex was painless. Customer Service was helpful and accessible (got a human!). I was drawn to the customizable look (got the oak) as most purifiers look hideous. Noise level is acceptable. I was expecting my partner to benefit most as he has allergies, but was surprised when I noticed a benefit. He didn't as much as I had hoped, but he hasn't been tested to know for sure what his allergies actually are. Love the easy access to the filter and simple lift out and place in to change it. A silly thing, I absolutely love the box it came in! So easy to lift and open, well marked and thought out. No slicer dicer necessary to cut packing tape! I got another one for the rest of the house, and plan on purchasing another one for our business location.

It actually works

I didn’t think it would make that much of a difference but I’m a believer now. I’ve been sleeping so much better and it’s definitely kept the dog hair down a bit. Also, the unit runs pretty quiet at the maximum setting. The footprint is small and fits perfectly in our hallway. Also, the convenience of having auto ordered filters makes it nice so you don’t have to remember when you need to order them next. I may look at buying another one for our basement and using the pet filter since that’s where our dogs spend most of their time. Needless to say if you’re on the fence just do it.
