A bit pricey, but does the job. I like the design and color, I don't like that the air filters up instead of out like a fan. It is quiet, almost too quiet. Overall, a great air filter.

"Flex" your right to breathe clean air . . .

This is a great unit for those with very limited horizontal space for an air purifier as it has the smallest footprint of all of the BreatheSmart models. It's exceptionally quiet even on the highest setting. I do miss the auto setting of the other BreatheSmart models but for and entry level unit and the price it's a good buy.

Intolerable guest cottage was refreshed

The mildew air in the old guest cottage at the farm where our daughter & family recently moved prevented us visiting them overnight, although we live distantly. We were delighted at the fresh cottage air, after 1st diffusing concentrated Thieves Essential Oil, then followed by daily air maintenance with the Alen Air Purifier, for a full 2-week stay.

I love my new FLEX purifier! The smaller streamline design works perfect in my kitchen/family room area. Downsizing has become a way of life for us, so the FLEX works great without taking up valuable square footage. The control panel is easy to use with it's many functions and maintenance is a breeze with the easily removable magnetic cover (no tools needed!). I am always amazed at the amount of dust and pet hair my Flex removes from our home..and that's only the stuff I can see :laughing:. It is reassuring as a wife, mother, grandmother and pet owner to know that my use of the FLEX in our home provides a healthier environment for us all.

When my wife got up in the mornings her noise would be stopped up and now that we have the Alen Air Purifier with dust/pollen filter she no longer has the problem.

Simple analysis with good results

I have had the Alen flex for just under two years. I bought it when there were local forest fires and the air was terrible. Now I run it intermittently but it does get a fair amount of use. No pets, no smoking, 1000 sq ft apartment.
Recently I ordered a new filter. The last replacement was 15 months ago. I got curious and wanted to take some measurements. The used filter weighed 790 grams and the new one weighed 694 grams. The filters were identical and the part numbers were exactly the same. That means that the used filter collected ~100 grams of particulate and dust. That is about the weight of three 9V batteries. I am pretty satisfied with that performance.

Life saver.

My family was having headaches and sinus problems from mold and the air quality in our home. Within an hour from tuning on my AlanBreathsmart Flex, my family didn’t have symptoms. This product is fantastic.

I live in a. I do and have a new neighbor that smokes. The smoke smell was coming in thru my utility room and I am allergic to cigarette smoke. My new Alen took care of the problem.
