I've never owned an air purifier before. I have been quite pleased with with the Alen BreatheSmart FLEX. In my 1462 sq. ft. house, I move it from the open living-kitchen-dining room to our bedroom occasionally. It's usually set on the second lowest speed, but when I move it to another room, I bump it up. On the lowest speed, it's nearly unheard. On the second speed, I can barely hear it, and it's almost indiscernible over the noise of other appliances, namely the fridge. It's been running for about a month now and I'm thinking I may need to bump up the filter subscription from 9 months to 6 months.

5 Starts! Great for dog allergies

Bought two of these. Cleaned up my air so quick. I have a large hairy dog that would trigger my allergies pretty bad at night. Now I wake up and dont even have to blow my nose! Must have for people with asthma/allergies. I've bought cheaper air purifiers before and they dont even come close to how this unit filters!

I use the Alen BreatheSmart FLEX in the room my daughters share. I sleep with real peace of mind because they are breathing the freshest air. The difference in air quality is immediate and noticeable. The room feels cleaner. The air feels lighter. Morning stuffiness is gone.
The FLEX stays quiet on low settings. On higher speeds it creates a smooth, soft noise that works like a gentle sound machine, which is perfect for kids. It never disrupts sleep.
The coverage is strong. It easily handles a standard bedroom and keeps the airflow steady. I trust it every night. The build feels solid. The maintenance is simple.
The FLEX gives my family clean air and peace of mind. It does exactly what I hoped for and more.
