I have an older unit

I have an older unit as well and I love this new slim design! It is very quiet but also very powerful! In just a few days my new home which smelled of cigarettes and old house smell, had no bad odors and the air quality was noticeably improved! Works very well in a large room and between my two Alen purifiers, my entire 2000 sq ft home has no bad smells—even with 3 cats and 2 dogs! They really stand by their products and I felt 100% confident buying a refurbished unit from them.

The refurbs are a great

The refurbs are a great price and a great product. The In-person communication by phone was terrific and helpful in confirming our decision. The five units we bought for our church sanctuary and vestry are so quiet we can run them on high during the worship service. So far we are very pleased with the purchase.

This is my fourth unit from Alan and could not ask for better all around. The information to purchase, the ease of selection and purchasing along with expedited shipping leaves no need for anything else. I have 3 units in my home and purchased a unit for my son's home. We are all happy with the purchase and the results obtained from the units. They are, by far, the most quiet and efficient units that I have looked at in my initial search. Keep up the GREAT work... This BreatheSmart Flex has really helped my lungs! Less coughing, and congestion. If I move to another floor of the house that's away from it, the symptoms start again. I'll be getting another.

Best air purifiers we've owned!

We've owned numerous air purifiers over the years and finally purchased 3 Alen BreatheSmart FLEX Certified Refurbished to replace some other brands we owned.
When they arrived we were impressed to see that they look like they're brand new units. They're very sleek and modern looking compared to our other ones we replaced these with. I like how they slowly ramp up to speed when you power them on. And they sound great even at full speed. They are very smooth and consistent with no audible variations in speed or sound which was a big complaint of our other ones.
They seem to be doing their job cleaning the air as we started seeing the black pre-filter turning grey with dust particles within a couple of days and we're all sleeping very well.
We're definitely sold on Alen and will be recommending them to everyone!

Purchased this unit refurbished. Great price and received a healthcare worker discount. Unit is in bedroom and providing additional air filtration. No complaints. Have a 15 year old purifier still going strong. Excellent quality and customer service.
